When I was a kid a buddy of mines family had a silo like that and we were told to never go near it because "One good gust of wind is going to take it down." I looked at his farm on google earth the other day. 30 some years later it still standing right where it was. Methinks his parents lied a bit. Their old house and 1 barn plus other buildings we played in are long gone but "the dangerous silo" still stands!
Wow an excavator with a strap-on repeatedly penetrating an unreinforced concrete (fruits of the earth) silo. It does gives a reach for safety that some demolition operators on UA-cam haven’t thought of.

You mean someone that happens to have an excavator and an ibeam. Most silos come down the cheapest way possible, that's the way farmers operate.
