11:50 I’m actually happy they added the Red Mist reference in the show. It’s so cool that the creators added it in there, which meant that Red Mist was canon. I was actually not at home when it aired. I watched the episode a few days later with a couple of friends. I don’t usually watch the newer episodes since they kinda suck. But I gave it a chance to see. Me and my friends freaked out (in a kinda hype way) when we saw the Red Mist reference. We immediately went on social medias to see what everyone had to say and they were surprised too.
Honestly, the Randomland episode is probably one of the better "modern" episodes, especially since it actually provides some decent humor and let the creators go ham on flat-out weirdness.

So the meme you were talking about was actually used for a creepypasta, and what this song is involved with, called "Plankton got Served." The story goes that someone was on the nickelodeon website and on the spongebob section waiting for the episode, "One Course Meal," but instead found the title "Plankton gets Served," which follows the events of One course meal where Mr Krabs discovered Plankton's fear of whales and starts to scare him by putting on a costume design of Pearl, but does it too much and leads to plankton laying on the front of the road, waiting for a bus to hit him. SpongeBob comes out to try and stop him and even tells plankton that it's been Mr Krabs this entire time, but this is where the change starts. Unlike the original where plankton believes SpongeBob and gets his revenge on Krabs, he ignores SpongeBob and when SpongeBob tries to go get Krabs, a car would soon run over Plankton and soon we see him stand on a white pillar with a dark bottomless pit below him and a white light above him, representing hell and heaven. He would start to hear voices telling Plankton to jump down and soon plankton does listen as he falls into the darkness and that's where the episode ends, but after the author tries to find the episode again, it disappears and now shows "One Course Meal."

i know each story and their all gory in their own way. with squidward suicide being the most gory for reasons ill get into later. Heres a rundown of them all Humiliation, Mist, Doomsday : Squidward suicided - the episode starts with squid ward practicing for a concert he's playing in. after shooing off SpongeBob for being sponge bob there's a jump cut to him playing. hes terrible and is booed at. even SpongeBob and Patrick were there booing the most which was completely out of character for them. what shocked him most was the fact everyone had hyper realistic bloodshot eyes, leaking from the corners. after walking back home alone he sat on his bed and began to cry. while crying the sound of wind was heard followed by breathing and the sound of children laughing which slowly became more and more demonic. every once and a while for just a single frame of the episode, there would be static and briefly show a gored and mangled child no older than six. two boys and one girl. the second boy however was shown to have his guts removed and the boy still being alive and blinking staring at either us or his own guts. eventually squidward puts his hands down and the room goes silent. he stares at us. directly. before he resumed his sobbing without moving his body. the laughs resumed louder than before. the wind blowing as if it were a tornado. the breathing turned into a deep and demonic voice saying "DO IT", and with 0 hesitation. squidward loaded the barrel into his mouth and pulled the trigger splattering hyper realistic blood and brains on his bed and walls. some of the animators and the intern watching this had to leave. hillinburg was called down to inspect it and being the creator of the show was angered beyond words. the children were never identified nor was the killer or who had tampered with the episode. leaving the episode lost to time. It starts with spongebob finding patrick on some grass in jellyfish fields. he asks patrick if hes up to jellyfish with im. patrick retorts with asking spongebob if he knows how sea stars feed. he then graphically shows him his body turns into a realisitc sea star. his stomach mouth claw thingy goes into spongebobs mouth. injecting him with enzyme melting him down from the inside out. and consuming spongebob. if you wanna know more about the comic id recommend checking it out. its GREAT. it also explains why that patrick is so huge and why squidward looks like that. so i wont spoil it for you. just be sure to start at the beginning Served : Plankton gets served - Mr krabs finds out plankton has a fear of whales. Its discovered plankton has a fear of them because all of his family was eaten by a giant whale. krabs discovers this after a plan to steal the secret formula almost works and spongebob and Krabs are tied up. pearl walks in scaring the crap out of planketon and he runs off. krabs uses this to torture plankton until hes had enough and lays in the middle of the road to be hit by a car. spongebob trys to change his mind but he wont budge. he goes to get krabs but while hes gone the red bus runs him over and everything fades to black. plankton awakes on a pillar with a dark abyss beneath him and a feint white light above. in the abyss below are whale staring at him. and the voices of his family beckoning him to join them. Resigned to his fate plankton jumps head first into the abyss. the Plankton song isn't based off memes, but it's based off the creepypasta Plankton got Served, which itself is based of the episode One Coarse Meal. Basically, Mr Krabs finds out that Plankton is afraid of whales, so he dresses up as Pearl, who's a whale, to traumatise Plankton. This goes so far that Plankton tries to self sudoku by getting ran over. In the original episode he lives because he missed the timing, but in thr creepypasta the song is based on, he dies. He then finds himself basically in purgatory (the pillar segment). Below him is a pod of whales and his ancestors calling Plankton to join them, and above him is a bright light, both representing hell and heaven respectively. In the end Plankton jumps down and accepts his fate in hell

After getting traumatized by Krabs, who dressed as Pearl, a whale (Whales eat Plankton IRL, and Plankton said he had family eaten by whales,) Plankton lays in the road, waiting for a bus to hit him, only to be talked out of it by Spongebob. In the Creepypasta, it states originally Spongebob was not able to talk Plankton out of it, and he was hit by a bus, killing him.
He wakes on pillars in what is presumed to be heaven, his family down below telling him to come join him. At the end of the story, he leaps.
The sprite is based on the infamous image associated with the story.

So the meme you were talking about was actually used for a creepypasta, and what this song is involved with, called "Plankton got Served."
The story goes that someone was on the nickelodeon website and on the spongebob section waiting for the episode, "One Course Meal," but instead found the title "Plankton gets Served," which follows the events of One course meal where Mr Krabs discovered Plankton's fear of whales and starts to scare him by putting on a costume design of Pearl, but does it too much and leads to plankton laying on the front of the road, waiting for a bus to hit him. SpongeBob comes out to try and stop him and even tells plankton that it's been Mr Krabs this entire time, but this is where the change starts. Unlike the original where plankton believes SpongeBob and gets his revenge on Krabs, he ignores SpongeBob and when SpongeBob tries to go get Krabs, a car would soon run over Plankton and soon we see him stand on a white pillar with a dark bottomless pit below him and a white light above him, representing hell and heaven. He would start to hear voices telling Plankton to jump down and soon plankton does listen as he falls into the darkness and that's where the episode ends, but after the author tries to find the episode again, it disappears and now shows "One Course Meal."

i know each story and their all gory in their own way. with squidward suicide being the most gory for reasons ill get into later. Heres a rundown of them all
Humiliation, Mist, Doomsday : Squidward suicided - the episode starts with squid ward practicing for a concert he's playing in. after shooing off SpongeBob for being sponge bob there's a jump cut to him playing. hes terrible and is booed at. even SpongeBob and Patrick were there booing the most which was completely out of character for them. what shocked him most was the fact everyone had hyper realistic bloodshot eyes, leaking from the corners. after walking back home alone he sat on his bed and began to cry. while crying the sound of wind was heard followed by breathing and the sound of children laughing which slowly became more and more demonic. every once and a while for just a single frame of the episode, there would be static and briefly show a gored and mangled child no older than six. two boys and one girl. the second boy however was shown to have his guts removed and the boy still being alive and blinking staring at either us or his own guts. eventually squidward puts his hands down and the room goes silent. he stares at us. directly. before he resumed his sobbing without moving his body. the laughs resumed louder than before. the wind blowing as if it were a tornado. the breathing turned into a deep and demonic voice saying "DO IT", and with 0 hesitation. squidward loaded the barrel into his mouth and pulled the trigger splattering hyper realistic blood and brains on his bed and walls. some of the animators and the intern watching this had to leave. hillinburg was called down to inspect it and being the creator of the show was angered beyond words. the children were never identified nor was the killer or who had tampered with the episode. leaving the episode lost to time.

Served : Plankton gets served - Mr krabs finds out plankton has a fear of whales. Its discovered plankton has a fear of them because all of his family was eaten by a giant whale. krabs discovers this after a plan to steal the secret formula almost works and spongebob and Krabs are tied up. pearl walks in scaring the crap out of planketon and he runs off. krabs uses this to torture plankton until hes had enough and lays in the middle of the road to be hit by a car. spongebob trys to change his mind but he wont budge. he goes to get krabs but while hes gone the red bus runs him over and everything fades to black. plankton awakes on a pillar with a dark abyss beneath him and a feint white light above. in the abyss below are whale staring at him. and the voices of his family beckoning him to join them. Resigned to his fate plankton jumps head first into the abyss. The darkness and the light are representations of heaven and hell

Ok to answer ur question of the giant starfish song basically that giant starfish was patrick when he was tortured by mister krabs in an alternate universe and when Patrick ate a under cooked patty the clone's memory cells fused with the original Patrick and so began his murderous rampage killing almost everybody in bikini bottom he killed Krabs, Plankton, Squillium, Larry, in short that giant star fish is "The tortured one"
the Plankton song isn't based off memes, but it's based off the creepypasta Plankton got Served, which itself is based of the episode One Coarse Meal.
Basically, Mr Krabs finds out that Plankton is afraid of whales, so he dresses up as Pearl, who's a whale, to traumatise Plankton. This goes so far that Plankton tries to self sudoku by getting ran over. In the original episode he lives because he missed the timing, but in thr creepypasta the song is based on, he dies. He then finds himself basically in purgatory (the pillar segment). Below him is a pod of whales and his ancestors calling Plankton to join them, and above him is a bright light, both representing hell and heaven respectively. In the end Plankton jumps down and accepts his fate in hell
