What is the weather like in French with Pascal. In French, we use a lot the verb Faire when we speak about the weather, so it is useful to learn it and see the difference between English and French!

Can you explain why the 's' in plus is sounded in, 'il fait plus froid' but not sounded in 'les
journées sont plus longues? Both mean more cold or more long.

Daniele Canci I have never heard it pronounced like that in those situations. It really stood out to me when he first said it, and then I was surprised when he stressed it! French is my first language, and I am now a French teacher. Everything else was very good and useful, but I'll have to comment on that section to my students, contradicting him, unfortunately.

*en* is normally used with feminine words in French so Printemps is Masculine hence why *au*
