    As a person who saw Pauli work on designing the PPS suspension as he was racing in snow cross in Sweden and Finland I can say with certainty that the PPS suspension is built to take abuse, pure and simple.

    Sounds like a fun sled! It was interesting to hear that riders over a wide spectrum of ages were equally enthusiastic about it! BTW...Nice wheelie!! 😄

    Cool to see you at walts that’s one of my local dealers here in the NEK. I’ve been waiting for a uncoupled 137 very cool sled but very pricey. I’m considering it or an assault for next year.

    • @AdventureStreamingGuys
      @AdventureStreamingGuys  3 роки тому +1

      sledding is extremely expensive, not only the machines but the gear, trailers, tow rigs....freaking nuts. Those assaults are nice.

      @@AdventureStreamingGuys for sure I couldn’t imagine having to load up and trailer a few hours every time I want to ride that would be crazy. Im lucky enough to where I can leave right from my garage, the vast trail runs behind my house. The assaults seem pretty awesome I’ve been wanting to try one and other then the lynx not much interests me from Doo this year so maybe I’ll pull the trigger on one this year or a xcr 137 if they come out with one. Great job with the video I always enjoy hearing people’s opinions on different machines.

    I rode one, to say the front end bites the trail hard isn't true. Through the bumps it's amazing, but getting it to turn takes throttle control and aggressive movement to get the weight in the right place.

    I rode the sled and had the opposite experience with the steering. If I didn't ride it up as fwd as I could get , legs spread wide right up on the cowl moving side to side in the turns, it wouldn't steer, had a ton of push and it would inside ski lift. Had a MXZ XRS to ride back to back. Handled 10xs better then the Rave RE, The Rave RE was definitely awesome in the bumps and definitely Polaris playful, but the lack of seat up fwd and the tall wide cowl doesn't make this a sit down trail sled. The Rave skid in a MXZ with the longer seat and cut side panels, then you'd have a BAD ASS Trail sled for any day

    Very informative, excellent video! Looks to me like BRP is bringing something to the table for North America to go head to head against the Polaris Assaults. I live 50 minutes from Tug, but also do a Quebec trip (Maniwake and north) once a season. I suspect there is enough range of adjustment to find a decent set up for groomed trails with an uncoupled skid via front strap and shock settings. Granted an adjustment in riding style may be in order, but that's nothing new. This platform appeals to me as a huge part of sledding fun is tinkering, tuning, and learning. Regards and thanks!

      Interesting comparison, Rave against Assault. Rave has always been ahead against XR-S and Rush/Indy. The ultimate trail sled for hard trails. I think that first Boondocker in 2011 was tool against Assault, but later replaced by X-trim and X-terrain, Boondocker steadily going towards pure deepsnow sled it is now.
      But now when they increased Rave's track length i get that comparison.

    Boy idk I like technology and anything to help smooth out the bumps but the way I see this sled being promoted makes me want to take my chances and explore more off trail. Plenty of state and fed land for that. Every year more close calls with my kid on the trail. And I’m not saying I’m perfect but makes ya think🤔

    This guy is correct for eastern riding.
    Out in the west however it's going to get left behind by every mtn sled made.
    The skis are all wrong because in powder the skis actually dig in.
    Also, the hard seat has got to go!
    long rides, it'll be like having bad hemeroids!

      I had a pro s for 1200 miles and i didn't like the rear at all it was harsh to say the least and with no way to slow the rebound it was borderline dangerous, probably why it was discontinued. Was fun in tight woods but horrible in the rough stuff. The lynx feels like it has endless travel in rear
