So how important is it for me to go out there and find out what my name really means ? I was named after my great grandfather. I’ve never been to his grave and my father did not take me there. Does this mean I must go introduce myself to him since I got his name ?

You probably need to know the roots of the name first. Your grandfather probably got if from his grandfather. But is advisable to introduce yourself to the owner of the name. But if it doesn't give you a problem relax.

Very informative. My siter has got the same problem today with her son. She's not fully married yet and the child is now sick. The Dr mentioned that he does not entertain that; but how does he stop it or request that that ancestor leaves the child in peace?
