The biggest issue imo, is that they removed herb drops from bosses and replaced them with seeds. Yes thyey did make it to where you can plant more seeds to make up for it but gw2 is gutted without the herb drops. With only one person planting herbs as far as i know its going to be so much slower than before.
honestly I think you just need to find something to afk then while you go for trim on your main. Vyres stick out to me as a good option, smithing if a teammate funnels you bars, fishing ghostly soles, maybe archaeology, etc. I think finishing trim and just afking on the side will help make things better ( as someone who was in the exact same situation and just got trim while afking the fletching snowballs on my iron)
Definitely your opinion, i find Ironman mode rewarding, i feel i accomplish alot playing my ironman then i do with my mains. (i have 2 mains lol, both maxed)
To me as a trim comp owner I think the progression is fine, it takes some time to get back with all the unlocks. However getting those quests done and getting my items back, slowly but surely it gives me a rush that I finally achieved something. I do agree with the way the current state is with herblore, it feels outdated compared to the rest of the game as it is very very slow and you have to do high level pvm to get the items needed for a skill which is almost a necessity to have overloads whom are locked behind a very anoying and high level grind. it is just way to time locked compared to other skills is my point. Still enjoyed the video
I appreciate the kind words and there for sure sure will be more comp content too! Yeah i see what you mean, maybe i wasnt ready yet to start over or maybe its not my cup of tea at all, just gotta figure out what i want :)
To me it isn't about the xp/p2w aspect personally; i got everything pretty much without, bar lampeneering because fuck lampeneering, got my comp cape and getting my trim comp cape; no matter how much money i'd spend (which i don't do anyway) its not getting me those goals any easier
Not having HCGIM on release of GIM was a total miss-play on jagex's part. Putting the death mechanic makes gim series's so much more fun to watch. These are cool, but having death forfeits, having to do stuff the safe way, ect... is what makes the game mode so much more exciting to watch.
personally i feel like jagex themselves just hates ironman mode as a whole. after seeing plenty of updates over the years nerfing things making it unnecessarily harder to grind skills like slayer and combat, it just makes me not want to play. like nerfing rituals after all the youtubers and streamers got 120, or changing boss herb drops to seeds and stone spirits, or now cerberus miniboss being nerfed to oblivion i just question whats the point

kritya's "but we're the yappers" made me laugh so hard
The YCU sustains my lifeforce. Sucks how bad herblore is for you when it's such a crucial skill (at least i assume, i am a potion chugging brainlet).
it is incredibly crucial
MainScape would be awesome in RS3, but with MTX and P2W for XP you can only play Ironmen...

Silenced, Silenced
Twenty foot tall, made of radiation.
that croesus session was 20 clips, all the silenced speaking parts made it in :P
I much prefer ironman on RS3 but to each their own. Everyone has their own opinions.

100% agree! but we like the grind! will be waiting for the next video
It's a game bro, yes there's always the grind but you have to find joy in it as well. Don't turn a passion into a job and hate it
I appreciate it man, I have to figure out what I want and don't want to do
yay yappers
