Thank you. 😀🙏
“Two roads diverged in a wood, and I took the one less travelled by, and that has made all the difference “ - Robert Frost. I could feel the serenity, thank you😊
Hiya Tim! Robert and I are good friends!😊 The wrong turn truly made it more special.
Enjoyed riding along great video 🚴
Thank you for watching. 😁👍
Bravi bellissimo video fa sognare complimenti ❤🎉👏
Haha thank you Cristian. Glad you enjoyed one also. Have a good day. 😊🙏
Hello from upstate New York. You two do a great video to sell Scotland to the world. Thanks
Hey Gavin, 😃🙌.. thank you, very much appreciate your message! 😊👍
Excellent vid thanks
😊🙏
Beats the hell out of being stuck in the office. Thanks for sharing and taking the time and effort you put into these videos.
Hi Gary, Worth doing when people enjoy it! Thanks mate. 😊🙏
Superb Another great video. ♥♠
Thank you 😃🙏🙌
I'm such a fan of you both, you're videos are great and I think it's just fantastic that you are both so into what you do. I'm a summit camper and there is no way I could get my missus to put on a pair of boots never mind sleep in a tent on the top of a mountain. The content is always good and you definitely inspire through your adventures, so keep doing what you're doing as we the audience love to watch you. Take care guys, you make a great team.
Just tripped across this film. It's a fantastic area with so much wild ground to explore. You may be pleased to know that you can now link through by fireroad from Glen Feshie to Glen Tromie - you branch right at the top of the climb out of Glen Feshie then have a huge descent down to a new bridge at the bottom and follow the track which now links with the Tromie road that you eventually joined. I did the route in summer 2022 before the new road was built and ended up in that same slog across rough country as you then this summer, I found a new forest road has been constructed. I believe it was used for a big gravel biking event earlier in the summer. I would thoroughly recommend trying to head up the track on the east side of the Feshie from Carnachuin round the top of the coires and across to Sgor Gaoith with views down to Glen Einich and across to Braeriach and beyond, then from SG, head back down the other track back into Glen Feshie. For a good weather day only though!
Hey.. thank you for this. I’m away to get my map out. 😁👍🙏
How are you crossing the river at Carnachuin? The old bridge was washed out a few years ago and on my last visit was a very dodgy proposition!
@@chrisappleby1966 either the ford below Carnachuin. If river is higher then you can use the footbridge lower down the river and come through the forest section. Does involve crossing the tributary that comes down from the coires. Be careful on this bit as the original path down has long since collapsed into the river leaving a sheer drop for the unwary.
Great video as always :)
Thanks for watching Mac. 😃🙌
I've been lucky enough to walk through both glens on long distance walks. Tromie en route from Blair Atholl to Kingussie via The Minigaig & Glen Feshie after Glen Tilt & Glen Geldie again to Kingussie. Both are beautiful with a feeling of remoteness in their upper reaches. Great video chaps, good to know even the best of us can take a wrong turn 😆
Hi Michael, We’ll be back to visit the areas we didn’t get to on this trip! The wrong turn didn’t spoil anything in the end! 😊🙌🙏👌
what an amazing video, made my eyes happy. thanks for sharing those amazing landscapes
Makes my eye happy reading when people enjoy our wee videos. Thank you 😊🙏
I couldn’t even imagine how much you guys walk back and forth to pick up your camera. Your videos are so great. Thank you so much for sharing your experience and your effort in making the videos. Happy adventuring
Hi Sara, Thank you very much for watching, and super to hear you’re enjoying our little adventures. 😀🙏 We’re actually getting quite good at spotting a shot, doing it, and getting on.. We’re try not to let filming become the priority. Obviously enjoying the time outside is the priority. 😊👍
Lovely and perfect choice of music.
Hi Alan, Thank you! 😃🙏
What a wonderful film, cheers!
Thank you Alan. 😊🙏
Another great video. thank-you for all the effort that you expend setting up all those water crossing shots. I recently read "The Living Mountain" by Nan Shepherd, so seeing the Cairngorms from the trail perspective was a treat. Thank-you from Massachusetts, US.
Hi William, You are welcome and thank you for watching. We enjoy both the adventure and the filming side of it. All the best D&L 😊👌
Fantastic video - really enjoyed that. Thanks for sharing your adventure.
Welcome Twisty. Thanks for watching. 😊👍
The filming, like the choice of music, was very subtle and gentle, nice one 👍
Thank you Dom. 😃👌🫡
Awesome guys - those are some big ass tires!
Cheers Hooch. 😊👍
Nice trip. I've been looking at linking Glens Tilt, Geldie and Feshie but getting across from Tilt to Feshie involves a lot of boggy single track! Need to get a fat bike - you guys fly over all the rough stuff.😉
Thanks Kevin. We struggled on one big section of this “improvised 🤣” route, even with the space hopper tyres! 😃👌
@@ontheadventuretrails-scotl9389 Yes it did look rough. Best not to go off-roading with your MTB!🤣
Another great adventure. Thanks for all the work you put in to these videos and for sharing them with us 👍
Hi Graham, .. and thank you for following our wee adventures! 😊🙏
LOL - I was wastching it thinking "I know that bit", "I know that bit", "I know what's coming", then "WTAF - where the hell are they???" 🙂
Hahaha 🤣😂🤣😂… apart from some serious hike a bike.. it was still awesome! 😃🙌
Great watch as always 👌 been waiting for the bike pack video ,you to are what life is all about for me ,something close to my own heart ,love bike packing stay safe guys ❤️X so peaceful , one day I will get up there on my bucket list for sure 😀
Hi Andrew, Thank you! 😊🙏 ..haha we have our ups and downs but are trying to make the most of it when we can. 😊🙌
Hi D&L, Well done, what a superb movie capturing an area that's perfect for the bikes. Occasionally, its sometimes good to turn in the opposite direction to the rest.... nice one. Cheers, Charlie.
Hi Charlie, Thank you mate! Yeah it didn’t feel like it at the time but we really enjoyed it in the end! 😃👍
Aye, what a adventure absolutely brilliant....who said that blokes cant multitask 😁 Great drone footage while cycling Dave....
That's some clicks you covered....
Thank you .
👍🏔
Hey Dave, cheers buddy! I certainly didn’t multitask when I took the wrong turn! Poor map-reading! Hahah 😂😂👌
Great to see another couple out fat packing!!! - Great video as always 👌
😃🙌👏
Good job Dave 👏
Cheers Paul! 😃👍
Nice wee adventure guys, thanks for taking the time to put all this together. Excellent quality as usual.
Just a wee note for Lisa - at the bottom of your downstroke on the bike, your knees look as though they are locked - an injury situation that could prevent you brining us more videos! Should be approx 120 degrees between your upper calf and lower hamstring at the bottom of your stroke for a more relaxed ride. If your saddle can be dropped another 2cm/3cm that should do the trick.
Keep up the good work guys.
Hi JR, excellent advice and very much appreciated by both of us. Thanks you! All the best. 😊🤙
Cracking video Lisa and Dave Just love the Cairngorms. As you know we were there a few we ago, stunning place. 😍 Thanks for all the effort you put into these inspirational vlogs . All the best 🏔🏴🚲👌
Hiya Steve, thank you! Yeah looks like younger as much fun as we did. (When we found a track! Lol) 😂🙏🙌
Another beautifully shot video guys. Cracking wee adventure. Pity about the wrong turn, but turned out a nice wee pitch. I remember struggling up that track walking when me and Robin did the Glen Feshie Corbett. Looked hard work pushing the bikes up. 😁
Thanks Kev. Yeah was quite hard work in the heat. Work the effort though. 😀👌⛺️🚲
Full marks for using the fat bikes. I used to have a Fat Caad and now have a Trek Farley and I love them, but for distance I use my Ribble Gravel SL as it is half the weight and feels like riding thin air after the fatbike.
Yeah it’s all about slow adventuring for us. Anything faster and I’d probably newly kill myself, again!! Lol 😂 Thanks for watching. 🙏🙂
Great video. It would be good to see a trace of the route that you took. Tried to work out out on the map. A few key grid refs would suffice. Thanks for sharing your adventures.
Hi Rob, thank you! Will put something together when we get a little time.
I’ll put the pitch and the wrong turn on a UA-cam post.
Proper adventures there. 👍🏼
Hey Dougie, This was a brilliant adventure.. one mistake made it even better! 😊👍
@@ontheadventuretrails-scotl9389 It was meant to be. 👍🏼
Superb👍👍👍🍻🍻🍻
😊🙌🌲
Beautiful adventure! I'm not sure I would have survived that hill, though. 😅 I cycle every day to work, yet I much prefer walking up mountains than cycling ^^
Haha don’t be mislead.. we pushed up most of it! Tough going but worth the effort! 😊😂🤷♂️🙏
Do you guys have a Komoot account? I’d love to see your routes. Thanks for the filming your fantastic adventures 👌🏽
Hey, No we don’t sorry. Thank you for following our little trips. 🙂🙏
That “wrong” can often be the right turn 😉
You are not wrong! 😊🙏
Lovely video. We will be in Aviemore next week. Would you happen to have a GPX of this route?
Thank you Gabrie. I’m sorry we don’t have a GPX for this but Google Glen Tromie I’m sure there’s one available. Have a great time in Aviemore. 😁👍🫡
Is that a lighter or a piezo you used to ignite your stove?
It’s a Piezo.
what make is Mrs O’s rear bags n rack ….. asking for a friend (the wife)
Hey Russell, That panniers are www.revelatedesigns.com/ and the rack is.. Topeak it’s not the lightest though. The only one we could find for Lisa’s bike.. shop around. 😊🤙
Isn't it wise to follow stream downward that ward u won't get lost???
We took the wrong turn way before getting to the stream. We never actually got lost… just took one wrong turn that put us in a wee world of pain. Going back to fix the wrong turn would have been horrible 😂😁👍
lol
A glorious mishap! Sometimes it's good to be a bit misguided.
Turned out to be exactly that Doug. 😀🙏🌻
