- Hal Jordan is taken to Oa after the passing of his predecessor, Abin Sir. Green Lanterns Thaal Sinestro, Tomar-Re, and Kilowog are tasked with taking him to the guardians. But from a rogue call from Guardian Ganthet, they are now tasked with training Hal Jordan before the conference. Meanwhile Sinestro is dealing with the loss of his father in law (Abin Sir) and now has to bear the responsibility of training the young recruit.
This is chapter 2 out of 3 for volume 1.

Not even a minute in and not only is the animation great, so high resolution and quality, looks amazing, but also the sound design is GREAT! Great sound effects honestly and mixing, especially the whispers.
Awesome job man! I watched this a while ago but I forgot to leave a comment so here's what I wanna say, first off the colours, lighting, animation and VFX were absolutely beautiful, near perfection, the voice acting was great, it fit the characters, I loved how you portrayed Sinestro with his reaction to Abin's death really affecting him, Hal Jordan himself was great too, loved his fathers speech, although it definitely could've benefited from another take or 2, still overall really good writing, the short training montage after was hella fun too.
Somethings you could've done better tho were definitely some of the framing of shots, like how in some shots a person is not fully visible or is strangely shot, and maybe you could've rearranged the Sinestro and Abin Sur flashback to the start of the film before the opening credit for more emotional impact.
But ya know that was a blast man, keep up the great work, can't wait for the next one!

Absolutely stellar! After so long, episode 2 finally arrives, and boy was the wait worth it. Everything in this was amazing. The animation was great, it especially peaked in the training scene. The editing was really something in this, especially the visual effects. Speaking of effects, they were nuts. So clean and well made. It must have been insane going through so many constructs and scenes being edited, but it came out great in the end. The voice acting was great too, everyone did great, especially Sinestro's VA, I think he did incredible. Then there's the story. It takes a turn of focus on Sinestro for a large part, showing his struggles with losing his greatest friend. And I think you did good there. And I do like the training montage. It's nicely built up, showing Hal having a hard time with using his abilities, but he slowly gets a hold of them. And the music in this was sick too, props to the composers on that. So yeah, that's pretty much it. A fantastic episode, with some insane effects. It's great to see this thing finally see the light of day after a long time of hard work. Excited for what's next!

Yoooo this turned out to be amazing! All the hard work and effort you put into this paid off, especially with the VFX, absolutely mind blowing! The writing was also great here as well, seeing a deep dive into Sinestro and seeing how he reacted to Abin Sur's death, absolutely excellent! The decision to frame the Hal-centered training from the perspective of Sinestro was definitely a super interesting way of going about it whilst also circumventing the typical training tropes. Keep up the stellar work my dude, can't wait to see where this goes next!

Wow, absolutely incredible. To watch you work on this between and on calls has been equally as impressive as motivating. This video has the whole shabang, blender animation, great action, vfx and astounding dialogue and a great story.
Im really digging the characters relationships especially Hal and Sinestros, Sinestro being on edge over Hal being chosen and lashing out at him was really great.
