Judo and Jiu-Jitsu come from the same root, traditional Japanese Ju-jutsu. Osoto gari is part of Kito Ryu, a jujutsu style that Kano Sensei studied prior to developing Judo. This is not incorporating Judo, this is just Jiu-Jitsu.
@@dan5626Exactly! Always have had to learn throws, takedowns, self defense, etc. in BJJ. A lot of people are misinformed due to competition, focus on fighting off the back, etc. BJJ is/should be complete.
