Just replayed the true arena. Its brutal. Star dream is more than a regular boss, its a test of endurance, and that’s why i love it so much. On my 1st run, I let it fish the coundown and were jumpscared by the “fatal error” attack. Nothing will convince me Void Termina is stronger than this machine
I disagree, I think the Robobot Armor was used just enough, and had plenty of bosses used for it, Core Kabula, the Gigavolts, C.O.G.S, some of the mini bosses, and Holo Defense API in the main final level.
@@andrewvanover9747 Kabula and C.O.G.S were with a different gameplay style, and the Hologram boss wasn't designed specifically for the robobot armor. Giavolt and his harder, more obscure counterpart were the only true bosses that were designed with base-robobot move set. It's unfortunate when Kirby is known for its great combat and yet there are few moments where they game asks you to utilize the robotot armor for its fullest combat potential.
It is funny how alot of the here bottom ranked bosses were in the true arena big chokepoints when doing no ability runs. From a technical standpoint I personally would rate Haltmann higher as, especially his 2.0, requires a whole lot of learning if you want to properly deal with his attacks. That being said, yes, I am mildly disappointed with the asset re-use, but even more disappointed that Mecha Knight, even the very first fight, actually still has the signature tornado abilities from super star but almost nobody will ever see those attacks because he goes down too quickly. But all and all, I cannot help but love these bosses. The 3DS titles have boss flows no other Kirby game in the franchise has due to the smaller screen and single player oriented attacks. And obviously Star Dream Soul OS at the end of the true arena, in untill that point, longest and most challenging one as well, it is such a journey.
I think another reason that Robobot recycled bosses was due to being sort of a 25th anniversary celebration game despite coming out a year early. Same with Return to Dreamland acting as the 20th anniversary game.
Same, and this game has my favorite Kirby bosses, I can understand the hate against Holo-Defense API, but every other bosses were really good and fun to me
Okay Kirby Planet Robobot is a pretty good 3DS Kirby Game and we know that in the game Susie was a boss and now she's an ally to Kirby in Kirby Star Allies and the bosses in Planet Robobot are really good and I love the final boss against Star Dream because the boss fight resembles and reference to Starfox which is pretty cool. And it would be cool to see Kirby Planet Robobot being remastered and ported to the Nintendo Switch and it would be cool to see a side story mode for Susie just like with Magolor. So for Susie maybe she tries to find her father after Star Dream was destroyed by Kirby with him in it or maybe she tries finding Kirby’s Robobot Suit after Kirby defeated Star Dream or maybe having a backstory for Susie I don’t know? But this would be cool to see Planet Robobot being remastered on the Nintendo Switch.
man, the 3D effect in theses bosses was really stellar, I honestly wish it could have been experimented with more

There really should have been more bosses that require the robot suit! I love this game, but I wish there was more to it.
True! The robobot armor had so much combat potential that was just completly disregarded. :(
My thought's exactly! The Robobot Armor was the sole reason I even got Planet Robobot in the first place ^^
COGS and Core Kabula left the chat

I just recently played this game!!!! Such a fun one :)
Star dream is my favorite final boss in the series

This Game Holds So Much Nostalgia For Me, So Does Triple Deluxe, Which you Should Totally Do As Well!
Star Dream OS traumatized me.
