- D-Lab had another vintage arrival. Yep all the way from CA again! This beast sold for $555 back in 1954. The output section is push pull. Can deliver 1 watt of power into a 600 Ohm load. I had to clean the controls, but after that is sprang into action. I have been using the generator for tube amp testing. Will be featuring it in upcoming videos.

Contrary to some folks misconceptions, eBay really isn't an evil, always-out-to-get-you place to buy. In fact, it is one of the best places in terms of buyer protection if something goes south. I no longer sell on eBay because its too risky for honest but occasional sellers but I do buy there and have only been burned once since 2001. Due diligence is key.

Impressive are the alignment screws at the fins of the variable capacitor to set the linearity of the scale (seen at 2:55)
