looking forward to going through your quick concept videos! I'm at the point where I'm trying to memorize the wrap configurations, so I'm not wasting my time figuring outs / nut outs in real time.
flopped a 13 out wrap yesterday with a pair on a rainbow board. all the $ went in 4 way. i rivered the nut straight and knocked out 3 people in a huge pot.
The "smoothness" concept is very interesting. It might be more interesting if you could pull an example from a live game. A lot of valuable information being conveyed here.
It just means that even if you make a straight with your wrap, is it the nut straight? If it's not, it's not as valuable. You want as many nut outs as possible, so you don't hit your out and still lose. On a Q92 board, you have J108x... you make a straight with a J (QJ1098), but someone with KJ10x makes a King high straight. KJ10x has more nut straight outs than J108x.

Thank you. Very useful.
that moment when you get it in 3 ways on the turn with bottom set + nut flush draw vs. middle and top set and hit the flush on the river
