- Hi! This is a video about the opening night of Wales's first Capsule hotel.
The hotel is Called Zip by Premier Inn, and it is in Roath, Cardiff. It's about a 10 minuets drive to the centre of Cardiff and a pretty cool hotel to see anyway. Prices start at £19 a night, and we were lucky to book the hotel not long after it had started taking bookings

No problem! It was such a unique experience, and there isn't anything like it in Wales. I'd love to go stay in one in Japan one day
Must admit it is a good idea, Especially if you don’t want too or can’t afford to fork out sometimes £100 plus for a premier inn room. I’m lucky as I have a premier inn business account card, which means when I work away the company I work for pay for my room and other expenses like evening meal, breakfast Buffett etc. but if your paying yourself premier inns can get quite pricey. Especially if you have a family room which are even more expensive..
The center of Cardiff is only 5 mins away via bus or Taxi. The bus stop is opposite the Morrisons. You mention TGI Friday's and said to steer clear? The place is fine hugely popular.
I didn't really like TGIs that much. Maybe I just had a bad meal? Thanks for the bus and taxi notes! We drove in so I didn't get a chance to check out the public transport 😊
