- Taking the Kawasaki ZRX1200R out for a ride to freshen her up a little. The bike has been sitting for a while so it involved a bit of carb cleaning and while the carbs aren't at 100%, she still rips.

Wonderful bike! Beautiful sounds too...
They are!
Super sweet ride...a real muscle bike. FANTASTIC.
It sure is! I love it!
Definitely needs a tiny bit of cleaning up on the bottom end, but anything past about a quarter throttle and it wants to PARTY! What a perfect machine!
Yeah I can’t wait to get it in the dyno and really dial it in perfectly.
@@thecutrate1 I'm currently playing with a set of MJN's. My advice skip the dyno. Buy a A/F gauge and do it yourself.
I ended up replacing the flat slides with stock carbs on the blue ZRX I bought from you. It’s much smoother now.
Very underrated bike for the money
Yes these bikes can be found cheap if you look hard enough, you will spend coin for all the mods but still not much compared to the HD stuff I normally do.
Looks beautiful there man. Jealous! We are still under a foot of snow for a few more months.
That is one thing I can’t take away from California, year round riding!!
Looking good.. love my ZRX
Smooth
I'm mid-build on an 01' 1200R. If you've got the money, they're an incredibly flexible platform. You did good getting one with the good stuff done already.
I agree. If you want to go crazy you can BUT if you want to just do a few things the bikes are still very fun!
don't like sport bikes usually but this one if nice , really great lighting vibrant colours in the video
Thanks. My camera dude and editor has a great eye!
Awesome sound and good looking.
Thanks.💪🏼
I loved my zrx. im now sporting the z900rs cafe and its awesome but doesn't seem to have the same pull my rex had
The ZRX definitely has a good bit of torque for a sport bike. Most 4cyl bikes need to be rung out to feel the power, these things feel great at 5k-7k
@thecutrate1 I can't disagree with you on that at all, my buddy always had the itch for the vmax from the 80s after reading all the bike mags about the power when it would open up, he finally got one and rode it and never felt what they wrote about back then and then we he took my bike and came back he understood exactly what I meant
Jesus love my 05 12r
They are such fun bikes. Everyone that has one loves it. 💪🏼
@@thecutrate1 Kawis are the I4 gods.
Sweet Baby Jesus!! I was looking for a partner to sit next to my streetglide.
Looked at these last year then stopped. Well, here I go again...
You should they are great and only becoming more classic.
Def thought you sold this gem! I’m on and off on getting a metric I’m too used to hd but want something for spirited riding
If you like riding you won’t be let down.
Hammernice
💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Of all the insane/lame laws in Cali cant believe they let lane splitting slide. Epic for bikes!
It does make up for a lot of shortcomings.

Shh you need to keep this quiet.
Well.. I want one of these now.. off to marketplace I go lmao
A smart move
This bike was always in my top 5 badass. I never loved the swingarm. I saw some converted to standard crotch bike monoshock swingarm and it became my number 1. So f badass. Mid Missouri MotorCycles. Midmomc dot kham. On the home page, about 3/4 down is a blue ZRX. Cluck that and a bunch of pics of ZRXs in assorted colors that have been converted come up. The braced arm they use looks killer, and the Renthal sprocket is killer, too. It is THE PERFECT ZRX.
Thanks. It’s soooo much fun to ride!
