Superman's main use for tactile telekinesis was in picking up great big objects -- like skyscrapers or ocean liners -- without having them break in half under their own weight. When he presses against it, he affects every molecule of the object as a whole, rather than just pressing at the points where his hands touch it. Theoretically, this would also allow him to catch Lois Lane while she's falling at terminal velocity, and not injure her. If every molecule of her body is decelerating at the same rate, even if it's a very high rate, no organ trauma will occur!
So that's how he (Superman) does it. I always wondered why. At the end of JL movie. When we see him lifting that huge building. Why he wasn't going through it like a needle through a Joe Louis cake. Or how in super girl new 52. Supergirl was able to use a supertanker like a baseball bat. To slug superman and send him flying. Without the rudder shearing off the ship. Suddenly Superman & Supergirl don't feel that strong they feel more like cheat.
I believe in an article I read it was further explained that it's no longer considered tactile telekinesis that allows superman to lift things without them breaking. Instead it is part of his ability to manipulate his personal gravitational field and that he can extend it to objects. Which I guess really basically does the same job as tactile telekinesis.
I mean there's another use for this ability...flight. that's right, since your constantly using telekinesis on your body, you can control your movement through the air with ease.
Ironically one of the most prevalent passive powers out there, given that everybody that can pick up a bus at one end without the bus bending or breaking apart, or them pushing themselves into the ground, has it as a required secondary power.
So if I practiced enough I could save like 5 people not including myself from anything the universe could throw at me. Including all of your powers at once, AWWSSOOOOMME
i would just be spiderman with tactile telekinesis but arguably better since i wouldn't have to have hairs in my fingers to climb buildings and all i need is a rope to mimic spider webs

Makes total sense with the death of Gwen Stacy in hindsight.

You can also use this power to fly.
or shot lasers like a particle accelerator
@@jadynmurrell80 No. that wouldn’t be telekinesis. You could do concussive blasts like Cyclops though, MAYBE!!
@@Luka1180 you right but perhaps something like Deku where he shoots air pressure by flicking

I wanna know why my powers can expand like a field and hit people, somehow it is like a new level of my telekinesis... @EmpathDigital

2:25, Victoria Dallon vs. Bees and a revolver.
Hmmm nice SUPERMAN also has this power's but on a must greatest levels in power's forces
Gabriel Hughes Nah. It’s superboy who has it
John Garcia Fax
@@JohnKidd116 Both has it 😀
Gabriel Hughes Um. No.
@@JohnKidd116 um yes go look it up for yourself
Thank you for the information. I'm writing a character with this very same ability
Me too. Super confused at first but definitely makes sense

Omg this is so OP. I would throw an egg all the way around the world and catch it in my mouth...I GESS
Love this!
Make a video on thermokinesis
Super flight
With Tactile Telekinesis you can fly
combining the flexibility of an octopus with this could be pretty awesome, but i would need some human testsub... volunteers.
I would but chances are we don't leave close to reach other.
I would use this to protect my little sister Hanna also my best friend Shila and myself like f**k you bullies! #bossmodeactivated
