Oh how wonderful it is to see Cat Stevens playing music again. A brilliant songwriter, i believe it was his life's calling all along. He followed his callings throughout his life and has come full circle back to music. I for one am thrilled about that! It's so good to hear these songs again after so long.
He said it. Sometimes I find his interviews a bit too simplicistic. He hardly speaks of anecdotes, things that happened in his playground when he was a toddler, things concerning life behind his gigs, even things that happened during the gigs, he even hardly speaks of his music and how it was recorded, I mean technical details... in his interviews he's constantly asked about his choices, his faith, not much the way he built his lyrics but only what he meant through that... so that his interviews become a bit too boring for me and even his English seems so much reduced to simple words I can hardly believe he's a Londoner... Just for this reason, he's been asked about his 'path' thousands of times and he's always said he did what he was called for... always. I think he should let his music speak for himself here and start telling us a bit more about earthly stuff, like any other artist does.
The simply incomparable and spiritual Yusuf Cat Stevens, may Allah allow you to bring many many more years of your simple honesty, truth and happiness to a world which has so much unhappiness caused by politicians who have simply lost their way in their dishonesty, fakery and insincerity.
Were you? Lord, there were loads of tourists all around... where were you seated? And, of course, where are you from? I'm half Scottish and half Italian, it's now been 23 years I've lived here in Italy. Were you coming for a visit to this country or right just to watch Cat Stevens? I've been crying all through the gig............
No, magari.................. a suonare è Cat Stevens, che è uno storico cantautore inglese. Incuriosisciti, vallo a cercare su Internet, ti darà tantissime sorprese. Tu? Dove vivi?
