It hides brushstrokes much better and makes the doll look more neat. Again, I love the pony custom. I just wanted to share a technique.

Just a suggestion, I think that watercolors might have done a better job of making the color graduation seamless, or maybe watering down the acrylics. That way, you could use the natural way water likes to mix to incorporate it into the art. :)

I’m not sure if you know what mr super clear is but it’s stronger in protecting the paint from chipping and also has a shiny finish to it (depending on which one your get )
You should really use thin watered down layers of paint to make the skin of the ponies, that way you avoid bumps and strokes to be seen and the paint job looks more smooth
