ofc if y’all don’t have the time to do these yourself and can afford it, go ahead! but pls look into doing them yourself bc it’s so easy and will save you hundreds and hundreds of dollars in the long run :) went from spending $70+ on a set every 2-4weeks to spending $60 once a year for a set of 500 gel x nails, one uv lamp, base and top coat, beetles polish set of 4 and a file ☺️ u can also get cuticle oil for under $10 and just use a random hand cream or body lotion u already own as hand moisturizer at the end !
It’s not A-press it’s pronounced like A-Pray (A is the short vowel sound like in Apple) Aprés is French so the pronunciation is different. Just wanted to help out
@@gloriasanchez479 for my set but if youre looking for similar similar in terms of design, it would also be around that price! they have a site u can check out
As soon as I heard that she was “super fast” at sizing, I knew the mani was gonna be mid at best. The tips could’ve been filed around the cuticle area a bit more so they don’t look so fake-looking, like press-ons.
@@hellooo8 Unless you have really small nail beds or abnormally large nail beds you'll be fine . Now I do recommend buying solid nail glue. It's a game changer when it comes to GEL-x. It still needs to be cured but it doesn't slip or cause air bubbles. Unlike regular gel x glue if you need to reposition your nail before curing you can do it.
@@sandyslifee yea they're too big.... Just show them the pic next time .. Looks like you either need the size smaller or have the tech file down the side walls to properly fit your nails
She checked the side wall to side wall. If she filed down too much on both side to create a skinny look, it would actually make the nails lift quicker. The hands in the inspo pic have small nail plates. If she wants her nails to look skinnier, she has to go longer length.
Yeeeah sizing and applying them quickly isn’t a good thing. Those do not fit your cuticles and already looked like they were lifting on the edges because of it.
I do my own gel x nails, because whenever I go to a salon they just look too bulky or too thin. The last salon I went to did me sooo dirty😂, the nail had zero apex, it was as thin as paper
I like some of the designs she did for you, but your nails are quite a bit smaller than the sizes she chose for you. I’m sure you were fitted correctly the next time, but it makes a world of a difference.
They look great. There will always be imperfections, but they look sooo good.
The nail on your index finger is crocked! And the sizing is all wrong. They are way too big! And you paid $90 for these?!
Paid WHAT?! 😮
I never heard of a salon doing apres 🤦🏽♀️

I'm not paying anyone to put press ons on my nails. I find it dumb. Someone want to educate?
I was going to say the same thing! There’s so many nice press on for like way less than half the cost ($10-$20 vs. $100) and look just as good!

sorry they dont look good at all, it looks too big on u
Question, is it pronounced A-press like she’s saying or is it the french pronunciation like in après midi?
Yeah, it’s pronounced ah-pray
