Welcome back to Gran Turismo 7.
So Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.47 is here!
The second bug fix update for GT7 of 2024 has arrived bringing glitch fixes to both BOP & Cars in game.
So for the next video of Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.47 I'm going to dive in and take a look at the first set of new weekly challenges since GT7 update 1.47 released.
First up we head to Daytona Tri-Oval for a 3 lap sprint with the American Clubman Cup 600PP and then we move to Japan Expressway for the Silvia Sisters and some JDM street racing action. For the third event of the week we see another special event and the return of the Tourist Trophy the one make Audi TT race for all generations. Then we move back to the final update 1.46 event to feature in the weekly challenges the VGT Trophy at Grand Valley Highway 1 before finish up with the 5th event back in Japan and Autopolis for the WTC700 featuring Gr.4 cars.
For this we receive 100,000Cr , 200,000Cr & finally 5* roulette ticket reward!

my 5 star ticket was an invitation to buy a car I already own...now that's just bs
I play this game once a week as a 'coffee break' from my regular games. The roulette tickets are an insult, as house always wins.
This week is just a waste of time sadly- they need to spice up the rewards a bit- 1million credits or 6 star ticket is fine.... maybe they should add a monthly or bi monthly prize that requires u to beat every week in that time span?
The reward could be a Hagerty lotto ticket or something like that!

I wish you could sell the car parts you get from the roulette ticket as well as engine from them to when you get to level 50
Well I'm here again to give another rant about Polyphony and its rewards system in the roulettes.
I have done the challenges today and I can officially say I am done with doing these challenges from now on unless they are credit rewards. I did them today to give the challenges and my luck a fighting chance to comeback. Once again, my luck continues to decline and my reward for the 5-star roulette was the lowest reward of the bunch. Quite typical. Of course it was a car part for a car I don't own. It was a High Lift Camshaft S for a 2020 Civic Type R FK8. It could be good but I can just buy it, there's no reason to give these car parts for free, unless it's Weight Reduction Stage 5.
Polyphony really need to change / fix these rewards in these roulettes because it's really not fair on the player for doing 5 challenges for 30 mins - 1 hour straight and then getting a really crap reward after it. It's like PD are slapping you in the face here and saying, "here enjoy this, be grateful. You ain't getting nothing else". I mean, WHY is there a car part in a 5-star roulette?? It should be just money, car brand invites, free cars or engine swaps. NOT car parts, especially for cars you don't even own!!

I did the weekly races and no rewards for me… status for the rewards is acquired, but they are not… what can i do?
When I was about to make a pit stop in the WTC 700 on the 7th lap, the rain suddenly started, and it caught me off guard. I stopped just before entering the pits, and I waited to see if it will rain harder, but it didn’t. I was unable to re-enter the pits because I was sitting there for a few seconds or so.
Unrelated question (can't find info on GT Planet):
Does the AI also change to race medium/softs, in custom races, if weather effects are enabled? I think you mentioned it in an old video - or is it just a false memory/wishful thinking?
I use my 4 rotor RX-8 for WTC700 races. Smokes them and does a no stopper.
Bulgari VGT has no brakes. Jag VGT roadster will not get round corners due to it being EV and 4wd.
