That happened to me. I also wasn’t aware that I was training the person who was supposed to be replacing me. I did get the last laugh when I landed a government job in the state capital that was less pressure and more money.
Even the employer and Brad must learn to respect others, even respect others work because they cannot take anyone's work. Not only that is fraudulent, but also uncalled. Learn to respect everyone at the company doing your own work and your own presentation. The only presentation I do is helping people in the community and the elderly, including the homeless. That is the kind of company most people love to have even if they love helping people in the community. The fact is we not only show our kindness, but also learn to respect our elders.
@@TheNargana Maybe so, but exposing such corruption was the better way to handle a problem like this. If he did nothing then that CEO and nephew could tell whatever they wanted about how their business failed.
This is why good bosses look at work experience on candidate's resumés instead of just hiring for top positions "fresh out of school." And the only way I would go the nepotism route in the advertising game is casting relatives in commercials and having them model in advertisements, no more. Just because they went to business school doesn't mean they're still "wet behind the ears." As for taking companies into the future, um, ever heard the expression, "If it isn't broken, don't fix it"? This is why I would NEVER hire my nephew/niece for such an important position as Thomas' former one, if I were CEO or top brass, no matter how much my sister and brother-in-law begged.
Did you new company offer so much more than the present company? In the present co.pany his experience is proven and he mentioned several times that he had relationships with the clients. I think he should have stayed with his present company after fixing it

It's called, start your own business and take your old company's customers with you!
Words mean nothing without a bonus attached. This guy left with no gain.
Boss is ona nepotistic powerdrive. Such characters overreach themselves, and fall to below the ground

Normally I would've said just quit, but the CEO and his nephew would've destroyed the company leaving hundreds of people jobless.
Not his Clowns, not his Circus. When the big Boss know better...

Agreed

Written by an AI or a middle schooler. Not how an advertising agency works on this planet.
What a terrible boss!
Well written.
Family or not I’m not giving anyone a position they are not qualified to be in.
What a lame fairy tale. Thomas looks like a doll on top of a wedding cake.
listen to your wife..they don't even appreciate you...get another job...time for part two of your life....
Yea you should have just left
interesting
Palpable
