@@Masked_figure1 you can isolate hunt it with a fire encounter sandwich where Kleavor spawns - you can get a level two encounter without herba too, birbzone has a really cool sandwich calculator for stuff like that

The sparkling power 1 boost has been a life saver for me. In my entire time playing SV, I never can get herba mystica. But the other night I found a snivy, seadra and totodile all on one sparking power 1 sandwich

It really hurts me to think about the shinies I have 100% walked past while playing this game. Insane that there is no sound effect or animation.
My eyesight is so bad and some of the features in the game really hurt my eyes, so I’m convinced that I’ve missed at least a couple because of that 😝
Same here but no jingle or sparkle is for the best. LA was too easy that it took the fun out of it imo

I caught over 300 different shiny pokes in SV without the use of herba mystica, not including dupes, just used outbreak method. Took about 6 months, but I’ve definitely been using the academy special now lol

I'm so glad I discovered the Academy Special, since I won't even TRY to get Herba Mystica, I use this constantly (first time I did I got a shiny Silicobra and a shiny Rellor within the same minute)

I think an all type will be harder to shiny hunt in encounters as it still encourages regular spawns in the area, but then shiny hunting is all rng and some luck like mine is sub par at best when you dont get the shiny you want but encounter random ones instead. But never the less good job with the hunt
Congrats on all of ur shinies. Man u got so lucky with the Minior with getting 2 in 1 outbreak. I’m mad and jealous specifically the luck you’ve had with Horsea because i shiny hunted that thing more than 1 time and i have the shiny charm, killed 60+ without going over, and used a shiny sandwich and not once did it want to shine. So hopefully ur shiny Horsea luck comes to me because i so badly want a shiny Horsea.

This is the way I hunt in Scarlet!! The tera raids are so upsetting mechanically that I hate doing them. I also miss most event pokemon because I refuse to do the raids. Instead, I use the cafeteria in Blueberry Academy. But as a general rule... I just dont shiny hunt in these games. Egg hatching is a chore, tera raids are a chore, my eyesight is generally bad and pokemon spawn and despawn unreliably.
I was excited to shiny hunt in this game, but my god my eyesight is so bad! I’ve caught three shinies at full odds so far (I started playing the game a week or two ago), but I bet I’ve missed others because of that 😓

I eat this sandwich while I'm doing BBQs and run into Shinys quite frequently. The amount of spawns in the biome paired with the BBQs sending you all over the place leads to quite a few Shinys a day sometimes.

I also have been struggling with duraludon. I'm on the 8th sparkling power 3 sandwich+ knocking out 60 in the outbreak. I feel your pain
So far all the random shinies I found in the indigo disk are: drilbur, exeggcute, rhyhorn, hisuian qwilfish, and alolan graveler
I found a shiny miniBOMB yesterday it had explosion and I learned it the hard way luckily I saved

Duraludon was the first pokemon i hunted for in the indigo disk because i love Archaludon and wanted to use one in ranked battles. After date/time manipulating for a while to keep the event outbreaks around, i finally caught one that even had "the thunderstruck" mark, which i think is perfect because of his signature electric move.

Arlie, do you think Academy Special meal is a bit broken for shiny hunting? With the Shiny charm the shinies are kinda too common in my opinion. I usually just EV train my Pokemon in the wild and shinies just pop up without even asking 😅
The Duralaudon outbreak was horrible. I have all the base Milcery but not once.. in my 3000+ encounters did I spot a shiny. I feel like the red on the head being gone would be obvious but idk. Glad it exists though lol.

Only thing I don't like about Indigo Disk shinies is a lot of them have self damaging moves. But that's massively offset by the fact you could more easily get Shiny Starters from previous generations now.
How do you get a bunch of outbreaks of the same Pokémon like Duraludon at 6:11?

Academy Special should last a little longer since you can't fast-travel out of buildings. Even +1 min would be nice.

I've been using the academy meal since it came out. it makes out breaks so easy and doesn't waste herba. definitely recommend.
