Hi Elite automation, Great video. It was really helpful. I need to make DCS for Fanuc R30iB+ Dual arm. I need to make user model to cover the torches in both robots. The problem is that I don’t know how to cover both. I can cover the torch for robot 1, and no matter what I do, the second User Model is connected to the first robot instead of the second one. Do you know how to do this? Thank you.
If I'm not mistaken there is something in the DCS saying what user model the zone is associated with. That user model has to be changed. If you have roboguide you might be able to do it in the side menu as well.
Hi ! Good video ! Quick question, do you know if we can add more than 3 User Models in a DCS Cartesian position check ? I have 3 different tools and besides creating every cartesian zone in double with the last User Model, I don't see any other option. (Thing that I can't do because I have already used half of my space of DCS....)
Hi, we hope this info helps: The number of user models you can add in a DCS Cartesian position check depends on the specific DCS system and its configuration. While some systems may have limitations, many modern DCS controllers allow you to add more than 3 user models. Here are some factors to consider: DCS System Capabilities: Check the specifications of your DCS to determine the maximum number of user models it can support. Complexity of the Application: The number of user models needed may vary based on the complexity of your application and the number of different zones or positions you need to define. System Performance: Adding too many user models can potentially impact system performance. It's important to strike a balance between the number of user models and the desired level of safety and functionality. In general, it's recommended to consult the DCS system's manual or contact the manufacturer for specific guidance on the maximum number of user models and any potential limitations. By understanding these factors, you can effectively configure your DCS to meet the requirements of your application.
Great knowledge on DCS
Thank you!!
