I'm 70 years old and boy does that bring back memories, I used to work on my old hot rugs all the time. The neighbor growled down the street said she'd never seen my face All she ever saw was a pair of boots from underneath my car. Good old days🔥🔥🔥🚀🚀🚀
Proper!!!! Never lifted And Kicks the clutch pedal , Not Pushing , But Kicking ! Very good ET from the car also , I’d expect it at about 13.1 . Impressive run
That's a "mad man" shifting thru the gears of that " Muncie" like that shiddddd! Hell of a driver. This is great motivation for me to not question putting a Muncie in my oldskool car any longer.
Remember banging hard in my m22 chevelle . Had ladder bars so it hooked real good ..no wheel hop, but would still break loose the tires in 3 rd with the 411s.. so fun…
That was my father, he was racing a 455 Firebird with his ‘69, 396, m21. Had studded winter tires on and when he banged into 3rd the tire spun and caused a burst of sparks lol
My bud had the muncie rockcrusher in his 1966 nova, had the hardest time trying to correct a really powerful wheel hop situation, car could really move
Great driving.Easy off the line and did not knock the tires off.Very nice shifting.I am always A little bit easy off the line with my Muncie.Worried it will bust with the 4000rpm launch with slicks.I tend to roll out same way.
I'm 55 and pedal to the metal not lifting while shifting was always called power shifting in my circle of gearheads. Been doing it since I got my license at 16. Broke crap LOL but always more fun than a automatic.

Damn I miss those days.
Nothing shifts like a Muncie with Hearst linkage. It's the superior setup. I've experienced it personally and I've watched videos of guys shifting.
Hearst linkage. ?
Patty Hearst linkage?
Now i sit me down to shift never lift and never miss because if i do my engines screwed 👍

Those big steering wheels get in the way...
I came up with a 12.63 not sure why the clock said 1.94 when he crossed

Why troll the guy always look for the negative?
Sounds like he needs to get a new clutch ..
Benny TD backtires spinning
He was clutching that's not power shifting
I believe you're confusing matching revs with power shifting, Jeff. That was a rather clean example of powershifting (aka flatshifting).
I agree, that looked like speed shifting, not power shifting. Good run though.

Shut the fuck up jeff ! .. He never lifted ..
Transmissions won’t last long
i think i have 10 years on her now. maybe 150 1320ft passes?
You rev more slip more and be nicer to transmission and be as fast, really!
No big trick🤭
I was a lot faster than that!
Sure you were. Everyone on the internet is
