- Hey everyone! Today we will be taking down all of the Christmas decor and giving our home a winter refresh! Plus, I have an exciting clearance Christmas/home decor haul to show you guys, I couldn't believe how many great deals there were even before Christmas arrived! Hope you all enjoy! It's so much fun decorating for Xmas but such a chore taking it down. I put it off as long as I can but this week finally found the energy to do it. Lol as a senior it takes me twice as long now.

I love Christmas and I always say I am leaving it up longer this year. By Christmas and the day after I am ready to get it back to normal. I have this last year cut way back on decor though. It is just me and my husband we are older now. No more babies or small kids. Gave a lot to light house ministries this year. Same with other Holidays. Just change out a few pillows and items. Keep blanket throws neutral just change out pillows or throw covers on them. Front of house just hang two large lighted wreaths at windows and hang something on door. Used to outline house and window, doors, garland and lighted rain Deers, trees, and ice cycles. Gave all it to charity.
I get it, it’s so nice to have a calm clean house. It’s hard to keep the house clean all the time with little kids 😄 but I try! Thanks for watching! 💛

I like to go all out for Christmas with a lot of red, so I usually take my decor down little by little. I leave up greenery, and silver and white decor for the cold winter months. I feel like I get more of my money’s worth by using some Christmas decor all winter.

It is so much fun putting it all up for Christmas but a chore putting it all away, but I got it done!! I love your winter decor simple and a neutral decor!! I will be interested in your backsplash for your kitchen we are doing ours this year and I have the same granite countertop as you or it just looks the same.

I love Christmas but I have to admit on December 26 I start taking it all down. Took me three days to get everything packed and put away. I always love the empty look because it's a chance to clean and refresh things. Your home is very pretty and I love how you decorated.
