That's the Aleais Sr16 and I programmed it to have the beat with a snare drum on the A side and a rim shot on the B side. One pedal on the floor stops it and the other pedal goes back and forth from the a and b side. I use the snare for intros and the rim shot for the verses.

@@josephomerpineau I was wondering about that too. I used an SR-16 years ago, to great effect. I programmed all my own patterns, but based them on on patterns from an even older Korg Rhythm-55B, because Korg had nailed that aspect.
