Panjang umur pak. Berkah tuhan selalu menyertai mu
These are one of the hardest working people and harshest conditions I’ve seen. God bless these beautiful souls ...
I honestly wish I could make it better for everyone the whole world over, just a snap. I’m so grateful for the life I have, just by luck I was born in USA. I’m not wealthy, but I am in comparison. I pray for a better life for everyone.
they work hard not smart
Then you haven't seen the guy in the sewer, working shit looking for gold dust fallen off of the workers while they where taking a shit.... That's the bottom line...
Sorry , kenny ....
God has other priorities at the moment for someone somewhere in the Andromeda galaxy whose probably even worse off.
These people made babies and now have a problem. They made bad life choices. Bla bla bla to your response
Kerasnya Indonesia negri yg kaya sumber daya Alam tp cm sglintir org yg mnikmati🇮🇩
Tonton yg episode kongo shabunda, kyanya hampir sama keras nya hidup
@@wontriputra7008 Iya bang, berat banget rasa nya hidup dibagian afrika.
Merantaulah supaya bsa mengubah hidupmu,

What a good man! This is unbelievable. This man puts 100% of his love into his daughter. I am so moved by this. PRAISE GOD FOR THIS HUMBLE MAN!
I'm agree with you, sadly, Mr. Andik was dead right now. He died when work at Ijen mountain. Fight for his family.

Its normally in indonesian.
All parents will do everything for their son.
Although we must exchange with our life....
laki-laki tangguh & kuat dr jawa,impian mereka sederhana tdk muluk2 & maruk,sangat tulus mencintai kluarganya terutama anak2 bs skolah/kuliah & lari dr kemiskinan😭
they are tough men who are responsible and love their families 👍👍👍
It really breaks my heart and tears dripping when I watch these people suffer so much, work so hard and earn so little. I really hope someone could start a crowd funding to donate mask to these people. 10 bucks wouldn't hurt anyone who have watch this documentary, but it will helps these poor people. Life is not about how many you have earn, it is more about what you have gift to someone really in needs.
10 bucks m in
If you provide them with masks they will start smoking more just to compensate - and die anyway. You are the one who doesnt understand it, Strategy Myass.
hello over shit - you are so stupid. Even if they smoke thats up to them .. the point is with masks their breathing will be protected and they wont be suffering the worse effects of the acid and sulphur. What a dumb fuck you are.
thanks
i was thinking the same thing. 3M could afford to donate them. catridges be expensive and would need replacing regulary

sometimes when I feel down, tired of my work and life, I watch videos documenting these great people on the internet, they give me motivation and positive vibes about love and family life. May God have mercy on these amazing people
When watching these people, and others like them, one realizes how good we have it in the west. Imagine working at such a place from a teenager to an "old man" at age 40...
This was hard to watch.
So so so true my brother, it makes me even want to work harder
40 years is not old, humans are known to grow twice older than that, and in some cases even thrice that. This is torture.
@@mozvidz Agree 100%. soo you didn`t understanudt that I meant if a person works in that Place from a teenager to an 40 years old, then you will be Very OLD..
I am 53 years old and I think you are a teenager. If not are you talking as if you are.. - Yes, slave-work in in places like this and other similar is torture! 100%.
@@comfusedWorldpassanger3399 Hey, my bad. I guess I missed the quotation marks in "old man". I was responding in the context of age in stead of length of time. If I read it that way, then 3 decades is indeed a long time, and for such a job it is quite daunting.
As for being a teenager, I so wish I was but I'm not. If I were, I'd definitely do so many things different like use my money to travel the world instead of hoping into the rat race of life.
@@mozvidz yes, I thought that you had incorrectly interpreted the comment. When a watch a video like this we understand how good we have it here in the west. - That I called you a teenager was childish of me, so for that I apologize. Good for you that get to travel around seeing the world if I had had the chance to do it I would have done the same. Take care and good luck on the next journey.
When that guy's daughter described being touched by seeing the conditions her father works in and how he never complains, never even mentions it out of modesty, a beautiful moment, and for all the hardships, their families seem much healthier than what we see in the West now that society has gotten so hyper materialistic and consumerist that family relations are become transactional.
25:38 RIP Mr. Andik, the father in this video,. He was died at Ijen mountain on May 29, 2020. He sank in kawah ijen lake. At that moment, there is local earthquake on Ijen mountain. This earthquake presumably, made a tsunami on surface of kawah ijen lake. His body founded by his collegeus, Mr. Arifin on may 30, 2020. Mr Arifin swam to the center of lake for rescue Mr. Andik body. Mr. Andika leaves behind a wife and 2 children.

So much respect for these men.!!!

Hello, I'm from Indonesia. This video was made in 2009.
The condition here is better now. atleast we have free healthcare and free education because now we have a leader that care about this country.

Don't look from one point of view, but look at the poor people in your own country..
I see people's complaining about there day jobs but watching this people's work I have soo much respect for them all..👍👍👍

Interesting how the people that does the physically hardest, most health degrading and relatively little paying jobs,
whine the least ... actually doesn't whine at all about how hard their lifes are.
Flying back from Bali to Jakarta I regularly looked down on this carter lake and decided I'd go there. So I found the time and went. A long walk, a climb up and a while to look and photo. The loads these small guys carried were impressive. That was 30 years ago and maybe quieter, less workers.
what is the distance they walk with these baskets?

Together, all the man can build a rope transporter assembly from top to bottom. Just need some small hand pulley tackle, long rope or wire rope guide and a metal hook or simple basket to transport the goods. It's a simple operation like a rotating cycle chain, when the load slides downwards and the other end transit towards up hill. This method shall allow those man to spend less time inhaling the dust and smoke and conserve on their energy and health and increase their efficiency.
I'll never complain about my job ever again.
Waow Indonesia istimewa kerja budaya semoga barokah
I'm sure the camera crew has on full safety equipment and breathing apparatus ....
Real man.. fight for his family
I was there, down with the sulfur workers in the Kawa Ijen. A long time ago, but there is nothing changed there. I was 25 and now I am 65 so 40 years ago. The Dutch were trying to built a cable car connection, they refuse because less people had an income then. After they were getting independent nothing changed. They die average with 45... So sad...
I don’t know why anyone would say that if they weren’t really there.Surprised you are still alive.Much respect.✌️
did the dutch want to build a cable car connection only for the miners?
and the miners refused it because then fewer would have work up there?
I believe kawah ijen mine was established long ago during dutch east indies time, very little thing change since then I guess.
also not understand behind their logic not to get cable car system.
Alxamdu lillaah Alshukru Lillaah . God u gave me everything I want ... plz God help these guys they r suffering alot
This is so heartbreaking to watch 😢‼️

Even 1rst world countries are fucked when it comes to jobs and opportunities.
I am Salvadorian, my ex girlfriend is Indonesian. She was 11 when she migrated to the US. We met in high school and she told me all about the tough life she and her family had to go through before coming to the US.
Le doy gracias al universo por lo poco que tengo y si pudiera, yo ayudaria but even in rich countries like the US, life is tough. It's nothing like the volcano people but it gets tough and I know that anybody in the US gets my point.
If only we were all equal countries where work was just an option not a must to survive.
What the fuck do we work so hard for ? We work our asses off but in the end we don't live long enough.
There's a lot of crazy shit going on man.
