Not really. Your phone knows how to manage its RAM. If you kill the apps, it removes it from your RAM and when you restart that application it consumes resources to store the app back into the RAM so it is actually worse if you kill the apps.

Yes follow this for long run. Personally I do the same always roam in between 20-80% and once in 2 month for calibration 0-90%
