Just a thought to consider....I am putting up a "Hoop Barn" for equipment storage at one of the farms. I don't have anywhere there to store equipment, so I thought I may try this to see if I like it. It's not completely up yet but I will post a video of it when it is done. So far, the biggest "disadvantage" I am seeing with these type of barns is the assembly. The advantages...they are not considered a permanent structure....therefore, they can be moved if you need too AND there is no added property tax value when they are up. It looks like I will have around $4.00 a square foot in it. Just a thought to consider in order to have something to hide the combine in. It doesn't have to be big or fancy...just dry.

Do you own the 16 row corn planter and 7 series John Deere tractor you plant with? Also do you own the no-till drill?

I would install a battery kill switch for battery health , kids can't leave lights on , no one can steal and since outside I solar battery tender. No more dead batteries then

Man U gotta put that combine away. I'd let tractors sit out long before I'd let a combine or planter set out. All those bearings and stuff.......if u don't have a shed that it will fit in u could get a big tarp and throw over it and just pick a spot to let it sit for a few months.
