Hello Lapiduse, thank you for the support. In short - no. DFSR will not work properly on open files. In order for the replication to take place the file has to be closed / unlocked.
Thank you for the Video. Can you please let me know how we can move the folder from one drive to another drive which is created under DFS namespace. Due to low disk space on the DFS .. I am planning to move the DFS namespace existing folder from E to F drive of the DFS server. Step 1 :- I have copy the data using robocopy with security permission

Does DFS Replication/Referrals support replication of open files? For example a log file that is filled permanently.
