You need a higher amperage. The tube pack you took apart are somewhere around 4500mAh. What you are doing will work if you connect the terminals to your new packs you purchased
Oooooh yes, that’s so true. What I need is a powerful battery and charger that I can connect and disconnect with my added connectors. I will make up some kind in franken power thing to make it work and have a bit of fun along the way. Bloody thing! 🤣
The 1.5v batteries don’t supply enough amperage to power the head. You would probably need 18650 lithium batteries. They are 4.2 volts each, so a set of 4 with two in parallel should get this accu nova running.

Well, you joke about the car battery, but I was thinking of one of the smaller types you find in car alarms and house alarms, the small sealed square battery 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@HooverLuxThat would work better. Too bad you can't rebuild the battery pack. Here in the States there is batteries plus bulbs that offer rebuilds.
