Rockin’ an 18K 2.5mm 22” Franco... If you’re reading this and you’re thinking of purchasing a chain with an ‘in between’ width of say, 2 and 3, like 2.5mm, save up and go for the 3. I’ll take my own advice next time. Stay blessed y’all.

I have both the 4mm Miami Cuban and 4mm Rope chain 14k Solid gold. I would say personally the Cuban is more classy and subtle while the rope stands out a lot more and is much more flashy compared to the Classy Cuban link.

I was thinking about the same set-up except 4mm and 5mm respectfully, being a bigger dude at 6'4. Not sure, though. Jacoje always says scale up thickness with body size.

If you go for the 6mm/24" solitaire look, you sort of lock yourself out of stacking/pendants.
With 5mm, I'd still be able to pull off a 4mm accentuating Franco/Rope stack, or go with a pendant on the solo rope.
I almost feel like 24" inch 5 or 6mm solo could be endgame, but then I'd regret it years later.
Going with 14k white gold either way.

Mine is snagging and grabbing onto the shirt and actually when I take the chain off I could see a little bit of thread from the T-shirt all inside the rope chain links? How often can I clean my 4mm 22inch rope with the warm water, non detergent dish soap and a super soft bristle toothbrush without it reducing shine?
It won’t reduce the shine. I been cleaning my rope the same way and it looks great every time. No dullness whatsoever.
Cleaning real jewelry will not make it shine less. It will make it shine more!

I got the 4mm cuban 22 inch. Never take it off. Solid chain. I wouldn't put a pendant on but to be honest it doesn't need one, looks good how it is.
Have you had any issues with it kinking up on you?

14k or 18k? I got the 14k and it’s my everyday, but thinking about upgrading to 18k.
Been rocking your 4mm white rope for over a year now and I can confidently say it's the best size for smaller to medium built frames. I also have the 3.5 mm yellow rope and there is a substantial difference in size. Listen to what the man says when he talks about going up in size. If you're thinking about a 3 or 3.5, bump that up to a 4 because it will be the difference between settling and finding the chain you love. This is especially a good rule to follow if you're looking into something that's diamond cut. Every .5/1 mm you go up will be a noticeable.

If you’re gonna get a Cuban, go for a 6mm+. Franco and ropes are great for the smaller sizes

I’ve had several ropes none of them lasted more than 2-3 years. I love the rope chain shine but the last three I’ve had don’t seems to last. How well is the Franco chain id be wearing them all day every day and not taking them off??
Hollow or solid ropes? Francos are densely built chains even the small millimeters can take a beating. If durability is what you want, grab a franco.
Franco is very durable chain. Downside is that it feels heavy around the neck
