He said it in a behind while on tour or something. He said I wanted to make this song so ARMY could feel the pain of my character and how he grew to enjoy that pain. He didn't have to bring in anything from his real life since he is a good actor, all he had to do was look at his HYYH character and go from there.

His performance comes after Namjoon’s, because they’re telling their point of view of the same story through each solo and V and RM are closely linked to each other in this. That’s why Tae comes out of a phone booth at the very beginning , it recalls the unfortunate missed call... Armys know what I’m talking about 😭
For me, V has the most impressive voice out of the vocal line. His range is incredible - he's got the deepest voice and hits that insane high note in this song. And it's the most powerful/full - even when he goes into his head voice it is clear and loud. Jungkook has the most control of his voice out of the vocal line (full disclosure, he is my ultimate bias) and the most beautiful tone - he is an excellent choice as Main Vocalist because of the control and steadiness which makes him reliable. Jimin has the best upper register and natural vibrato which is also beautiful to listen to. And Jin has made so much improvement, I believe he even has a higher range that Jungkook - as in can sing higher in his chest voice (example: Don't Leave Me - the chorus is Jimin and Jin, and then Jungkook is singing in his head voice)

Also, on a sort of related note, if I have to choose a favorite from BTS, I would say V is it. Vocally, V and Jungkook are the two who sometimes give me the most difficulty telling what parts of the song they sing because their range is amazing imo. Of course, I've learned bit by bit to tell them apart but I'm no expert yet. The first time I heard this song I was so in awe I had to take a break to digest it. V does this raspy thing kind of like Chad Kroeger from Nickleback usually (check out Boyz with Fun [my favorite song from BTS] or War of Hormone or Rise of Bangtan) which is what I was used to but then he's got these things he does with his voice in this song or in Singularity, Magic Shop, I'm Fine and The Truth Untold or any of the song covers he has done that are just beautiful and as impressed as I was with his raspy/deep ability, I developed great admiration for his vocal ability through these other songs. Also, on a sort of related note, if I have to choose a favorite from BTS, I would say V is it. Vocally, V and Jungkook are the two who sometimes give me the most difficulty telling what parts of the song they sing because their range is amazing imo. Of course, I've learned bit by bit to tell them apart but I'm no expert yet. The first time I heard this song I was so in awe I had to take a break to digest it. V does this raspy thing kind of like Chad Kroeger from Nickleback usually (check out Boyz with Fun [my favorite song from BTS] or War of Hormone or Rise of Bangtan) which is what I was used to but then he's got these things he does with his voice in this song or in Singularity, Magic Shop, I'm Fine and The Truth Untold or any of the song covers he has done that are just beautiful and as impressed as I was with his raspy/deep ability, I developed great admiration for his vocal ability through these other songs.
