Thanks Ninh, I really appreciate your videos on Abu Dhabi and the Abu Zayed Grand Mosque. Informative and entertaining and respectful too. Enjoy your travels, be safe and blessed be!
The mosque is beautiful. Thanks. Lesson learnt: the yard is grand and the floor tiles are decorative. In india, such a place has to be covered with a tent, to make walking without slippers, bearable. Thanks.
I love the mosque❤ I've been there almost 2 weeks ago. At that time, I was wearing a Abaya. So I got a beautiful photo and video🎉 your video can recall my memory😊
Ah, you must have seen my other video? I think it was just the sheer amount of people that was there ... and I found myself in unfamiliar territory, whilst dressed completely in red and standing out like a sore thumb. I probably wouldn't be so scared the next time I go, because I now know what to expect. But at the time, it was a bit of a shock!
Yes, absolutely! Definitely the nicest Mosque I've ever been to. I believe that the shopping centre has always been there, but most local worshippers don't go there. It's mainly for tourists like us!
Subhanallah, you can see what man have make with his hands... And Allah have make in Paradise with his hands , he created the Heave and earth and sun and planets and stars .
I highly recommend you visit Sultan Qaboos’s mosque too it’s equally as beautiful and is used like a mosque - it inspired the the emirati’s to build this
Random Iran comment: A relative of mine saw a Iranian film from the 80s about Iran-Iraq war veterans in an institution. He said it was very disturbing (as the topic would be) but very good. I saw an Iranian film from the 2000s that was about a taxi driving picking people up and dropping them off; his story, their stories. It made for fascinating viewing of one facet of society. Hopefully I get there one day.
I came in the afternoon until the evening. The mosque is big and beautiful. At night the fountain is turned on in the pools. And the journey is long. The entrance and exit are different.
Thanks so much for the tips! I am leaving my continent for the first ever time next week and this is the first place I will be visiting on my one day there! As I'm coming straight from the airport, I'll have a small bag around one of my shoulders - do you know if they allow that inside? And if not, are there any places to store it nearby? Thanks so much, can't wait to see it :)
Yes, I'm sure that will be fine. They security check you anyway before you go in. If the bag isn't allowed for some reason, they will inform you way before you get to security, and you'll just have to check it in at the nearest cloakroom. You're welcome, enjoy the Grand Mosque and check out my other videos on Abu Dhabi and Dubai when you get a chance.
I believe they offer wheelchairs to people who need it, but as far as electric mobility scooters - I've never seen one (been here three times). As for anywhere to sit down, there really isn't anywhere to sit, but in a wheelchair, you're sitting anyway. Hope that helps?
I did mine just outside the Expo, but if you go on the Dubai Health Website: www.dha.gov.ae/en/Covid19/Pages/Covid19Centers.aspx it'll give you a list of all the places that do them. Suggestion: pay for same day results - any longer and you might not get them in time.
This is not the most beautiful mosque on the planet, The grand mosque in Madinah is by far the most stunning and has a capacity of a million worshippers at once.
That’s absolutely incredible, but half a billion is lower then I thought I would have excepted it to be at least a billion or more just because it is In the uae and it is such a big and stunning piece of work.

I sadly didn't make the rules in this place. These are the actual rules of the place. I think the reason why is because tourists block the walkways and act like complete tourists, so they segregate areas outside of the walkways where you wont' get in anyone's way.
This is a worship place. Some people might crossed the line in the past. Not everybody is respectful to a religion that is different than theirs . Rules are Rules. I do not like tourists to disrespect the rules of my country and I will never disrespect the rules of other countries or people.
Coz many people who hold a place Sacred & locals who regularly visit it for serious purposes would understandably be annoyed with tourists taking pictures & further clogged up space. I'm not religious whatsoever but I get why other areas are restricted. Some tourists won't be respectful of their holy place or stay quiet while they practice.
