Picked it up here in the UK new from Smyths for £116. It'll never be lower than that anywhere globally for sealed. I'm no collector though so intend to build it :)
just picked up 2 with a buy 1 get 1 half price and ~11% discount, came to about $106 usd each. One of them is staying sealed, might be too tempting though for the other.
I don't understand how you calculate the profit. If I buy this sets at 179.99 and sell it at 250 the difference is 70. Why do you only count 20 of profit?
I don’t think we should be looking this at an investment point of view so early we’re not sure if they’re going to come out with other sets that include the same mini figures there possibly will be one or two, but they don’t redo, but I’m not too confident on that
I'm near 100% confident that most if not all of these minifigures will not be in another Lego set. The only set that might have one of them is an advent calendar.
Here in EU it is not flying off the shelves. LEGO MSRP in Germany 179.99 €, but could and can still be found on amazon for as low as 120 € since basically day one (33% off). This to me does not suggest that it's flying off the shelves. Does not mean it may be valuable after retirement, but the general appeal is not guaranteed based on these numbers. My guess is that after retirement, Darth Vader and C-3PO will be the most valuable ones, with Darth Jar Jar as the wild card (but objectively not the best looking).
I'm hoping the $180 price tag scares the heck out of parents, and as we see economies around the world in or near recession, I want this set to be ignored by collectors.
What do you think so far? Have you built any of it yet? Now that you have it, what do you think about the figures? I watched the show and it's pretty good, sounds like another season is on the way.

No reason to invest in something until it’s nearing retirement

@@thecollectorinvestingYou hope kids dont get to play with it because you think it isnt meant for play? And its made to collect it?
The big issue will be how long its on shelves.
I'm hoping it retires December of 2026.
Not sure if you take requests, but can you please do a review on lego set 75373 the ambush on madalore battle pack?
I like the set, I'll add it to my list of videos to do. Thanks for watching and commenting!!
I’m getting one tomorrow…
