This scene was so lovely. I like every single thing about this couple. Ichikawa is afraid that she's too good to be true. And Yamada, she just loves him. It's sweet and pure and wonderful, and I can't get enough of it.
What helped me see the positives in life is eliminate time I waste on social media, and embrace not staring on a handheld 99% of my free time. It also helps with giving you a clearer knowledge of what you really should be worrying about, and not be anxious about stuff you see online that shouldn't affect you but makes you think it should.

This anime had made me change my perspective of romance, loved all the phases of love going on in this anime. It will always hold a special place in my must watch anime. ❤
Yamada's innocence and pure heartedness and Ichikawa's resistance to her love signs make this anime a real danger to everyone's heart. I'm literally awestrucked of how magnificent this anime is going to be. ❤❤❤ but also sad that this doesn't happen to every Ichikawa kind person to get their Yamada, reality hits hard. 😔
Someone had to explain it for me since it doesnt translate well into english. The chocolates they were making earlier with the stencil "obligatory" on them dont use the symbol for "su" in the word. But, another word, "Suki" meaning "like (romantically)" does. Itchikawa also admitted earlier that he probably wouldnt understand if a gift of chocolate was intended to be romantic without a clear sign that it was, one sign he suggested being that it were heart shaped. Yamada gave him half of a chocolate with half the word for "like" written on it, just so his piece had the shape of a heart on top. You cant really get any more blatant of a "I like you" than that without actually saying the words lol
Yeah and this little details in every eps is the one that make bokuyaba stands out from other romance anime, it's literally one of the best romance anime ever.
I think the true beauty of this scene is the fact that as aggressive as she appears she isn't as confident in confessing as she seems. (Because giving him the honmei chocolate is basically confessing). She's scared of confessing because she knows how deep his insecurities are. She's torn because he says "I wouldn't get it unless someone tells it to me straight" He always finds a way to reassure her when she wavers (like the movie ticket scene). That's why she asks for a hug when he cheers her up (the same way he did during her apartment scene)
