Okay, here comes the turkey recipe!
I ALWAYS use an oven bag and my turkey is legendary! Sprinkle of flour in the bottom of the bag first. (Keeps the bag from exploding..dont ask.) Inside the turkey goes half an onion, half a lemon, half an orange, a bundle of poultry seasoning from sprouts, a couple of stalks of celery, a half a stick of melted butter with two tablespoons of BELLS seasoning. (Thats the most important part). Youll pull all of this out with some tongs when the turkey is done. No need to chop anything, the flavors steam through perfectly as is. In the bag goes the bird and more melted butter brushed all over the turkey and then rubbed down with bells all over the top. Close the bag up and make a few slits with scissors in the bag. Cook to the bags directions based on your turkey weight. Slice the bag open half an hour before you are ready to take it out so it can brown. I usually broil for the last five minutes or so to get that perfect brown bird. No need to baste, as a matter of fact the less you futz with a turkey cooked in the bag the better. Remove it from the juice after about twenty minutes of resting and put it on your platter. Let it rest another 15 minutes or so and slice. My gravy is made entirely of the drippings strained out and just add a cornstarch slurry to thicken.
Bells is a southern seasoning and it is by far the key to the PERFECT turkey. It has everything you need in one seasoning and the smell of your home on thanksgiving day is PERFECTION. If you cant find it in the grocery store you can order it on amazon. :-) The citrus brightens the flavor up just a pinch without actually "tasting" the citrus if that makes sense. Im 50 and have been perfecting this recipe for at least 20 years.

I use the turkey bag to cover my kitchen aide mixer when not in use. Protects it from dust and splashes. And you can still see its pretty color.

My mother always used a paper grocery bag to cook her turkey until she couldn't get them anymore. She started using cooking bags instead and they worked out well. No real recipe, just coat the inside of the bag with butter and let it baste the turkey for her.
My favorite item(s)... the "book" boxes.
Thank you so much for your videos. Before I watched this one, I was in a foul mood. This video turned it right around. Merry Christmas. 🎄🎄🎄

Best turkey is just cook it upside down, all the juices go into the white meat where it's needed, it will not be brown and be pretty but the moistest ever, I carve in kitchen and serve on platter

I think the clear lidded tubs are stackable! I also buy in 3 or 5’s I once heard that when decorating you should do groupings of 3 or 5 etc as that is most pleasing to the eye, basically the rule of 3, it’s just more interesting to the human eye !

Put a little flour in the bag, where you will lay the bottom down
    Tie the bag
Bake at 400 until the legs fall off!
    HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

My fav’s?!? The strands of mini-lights...because they look great wrapped around pine cones or in a wreath, the dark green bags (for DIY Advent Bags), the clear whimsical tray...to make it into a tiered tray w/a Dollar Tree glass candle holder, or those glass mini-candle cups you showed, and the storybook boxes, tumblers, too! It was a FANtastic haul! I’m heading out tomorrow, thanks Marie!👍❤️🥰🌲

The first time I used the bags for the turkey was probably 10-15 years ago and I use them every year since! It speeds the cooking time by an hour or two depending on the size. Turkey is moist every time. The bags from Dollar Tree works fine. Flour in the inside of bag, shake it around then slip the bird on and use plastic tie voila done!

GREAT finds! I’m already so excited about the Christmas items this year! We always cook our turkey in a electric roaster to save room in the oven for side dishes & dinner rolls. We always put an aluminum pan in the roaster and we line it with an oven bag. Easy clean up and it collects all of the juices which we use to make gravy and to keep the turkey moist.

Yes, I use the bags. I put flour in the bag and put slits in the bag after the turkey is in the bag. also how I do my turkey is I cut slits in my turkey stick butter in the slits and then I flip my bird with the bread on the bottoms because it keeps the turkey juicy. 🦃also rub your bird down with butter and add seasoning. The bird being flipped is the real secret

My recipe is pretty basic but it’s antique
    1 large turkey
I take out the neck and giblets
I cook potatoes and mix with lotsa onions and crust pieces of bread, just a bit, and lots of summary savoury , I add butter to it and mix it well and stuff both ends of turkey, some see it up but I stick those cooking pins in it and then I put 3 large Carrots on bottom , of roaster, put that big bird on top I then put olive oil with my spreader over it, and use my hands and put just a bit of curry, and whatever spices you like and BAM 💥 cover it and shove in oven, check it often, and the smell will make you so hungry!!! Enjoy

I always use a bag to bake a turkey, and my turkeys are always juicy and delicious! I’ve always used the Reynolds brand of bag, but I’d definitely try the DT bags! I usually just follow the directions on the box which are super simple. If I remember right, you add 2T of flour to the bag & shake it to cover the inside, add sliced celery and onion, then slide your turkey in! That actually the trickiest part, because I pat olive oil (and sea salt) on my turkey and they’re slippery!
I’ve had several flying turkeys in my kitchen! Hey, did you find your birth certificate? You gave me my first LOL moment of the day!😊💕

Last year I did a scotch box oven turkey.
If you if you don't know what this is it is a cardboard box lined with foil then you have a metal skewer rack then you have a tray with charcoal briquettes on the very bottom.
The reason why they call it a scotch box is because the scotch boxes that come to a liquor store or package store seemed to be thicker than normal cardboard most likely because they contain glass containers of alcohol.
They are well insulated you line it with foil inside and out you can cook at 35 lb turkey in less than 4 hours and actually I'm thinking about doing it this year.
PS: when my husband was deployed to desert Storm from the 3rd Marine air wing I made a scotch box oven filled it with pots and pans and a care package that had food that he could open with can opener and then cook himself a proper meal.
Growing up in California my mother was the Girl Scout cookie Depot for Orange County and somehow my mom learned how to do this so when we went camping on Thanksgiving we would always have a proper Thanksgiving turkey dinner!!!

Try the one hour turkey method!! I KNOW it sounds impossible, but it's VERY possible. I do it every year! Lather up your turkey, I use mayo because it makes it so very juicy and tender. Add whatever spices, etc you wish. PREHEAT your oven to 500 degrees. Once it's fully preheated, place the turkey in the oven and cook for 1 hour @ 500 degrees. After it's cooked for one hour, turn your oven off, and do NOT open the oven door. The next morning it will be fully cooked, tender, and super juicy!!!
