My fav strategy is early xbow and some infantry (when ally does something so i don't need em, then i don't build em), then skirms when enemy inf or musks when enemy cav, mybe some cav too if needed (french cav is pretty good but for me its too expensive so i don't use it very often)

It's a combination of economic and military strength. For the most part it shows how "strong" a player is, economy being a big factor in that math that the computer does to get the number.

much of the micro in this game seems to be managing your units overkill dmg to a minimum those riflemen sure like to put all their bullets into a single guy don't they. :p
is this is game called Age of Empires 3? because in my version i dont have aztecks, japans, chinese and other east countrys, also my board style of the game looks diferent than yours.
I feel like you could use the mortar more often. Instead of pushing into a fort, you could use mortars to wreck it and force him to move into your army to kill your mortar.
Agreed. Even if it looks like it won't succeed, use it !! At least it'll make space for more required troops........ 2 X dead mortars = 5 live cav or 10 live inf. GG, btw !! ☺
