I have to say that I was impressed. I had doubts when I first saw it, but I'm sold!
I just got mine!!!!! It's going to get tested today my friend!!!! Thanks for the good info brother!!!! Hi from Puerto Rico!
Thanks for a good, honest review and I definitely need one of these. Unfortunately, I let my backyard go this summer due to health issues but thankfully, life is getting back to normal. Second go around and it looked like it went through that brush quite easily.
let me get my popcorn for this one
Brother, I love your enthusiasm for this product. I think I'll be getting one!
I have had my weedshark for a couple months now....I love it!
Digging your videos sir! This is the real stuff I like to see. Most of these videos out here seem rehearsed or something. Not you, down home mowing right here and I love it!
We appreciate you taking the time to try our product. The head works best with the string attached. We call it the "Tail Whip" effect. The string and teeth work together to create a great cutting combination. You are right you do not need the string for light tilling or edging. Thank you - the WeedSharks
That is an awesome tool. I would like to do a review of it too. I have a 40 acres wood plot on a neighbor's farm land I've been trying to clear the brush from so that I can cut down the dead standing and the already fallen trees up for firewood. The problem is all the thick weeds and wild multi-floral rose bushes everywhere. I have an old Echo SRM1501 straight shaft trimmer (1991 model year or older) and an Echo PAS266 with the straight shaft trimmer head, brush cutter, pole saw, and the 3' extension attachments. I would like to make a UA-cam video review in this woods if given the chance and give it one heck of a test!
Thanks for making an awesome product! Truly a game changer in our industry
I can't agree more eXterminator! I am hoping that Ambush Heads will send me one (or 2 ;-) for my 2 Echo's)!
So satisfying and i bet it is fun to "play" with it :)
You earned a like from me
my grandfather made something similar to this but it was two flailing chains and it was satisfying as hell to cut throught the thick stems of the, well i call them skunk rhubarb plants. they have thick green stems and purple stems and are extremely hard to pull out and they leave a smell on your hands.
Great job, I like your leg protector. Happy days.
SUPER, SUPER, SUPER VIDEO, VERY WELL PRESENTED; DESCRIPTION OF PRODUCT IS EXCELLENT.
I want this for my husqvarna, I used to have stihl and did high end lawn maintenance but found a husqvarna one day for 109 dollars on clearance so I said why not and now.....I'm hooked, next I'll get a different husqvarna but I know I will stick to husqvarna,I love the motor mine has I just want a straight shaft but for edging I prefer curved
Man! Incredible. Thanks for the video. They also offer a lower priced version called the "Mighty Max". I believe the blades are poly reinforced plastic as opposed to the stainless steel Pro model. I'd be interested to see how the two compare in terms of performance. I'm using a CORE powered 24v trimmer so I think the Pro version may be too much for it, but I haven't bought one yet to try.
I would like to have both types.Fantastic product! One of those inventions that should have been out years ago
I need this tool badly for my customers producing coffee!!
OK thanks keep up the good videos they are big help. I'm going to try the mighty max. I don't have a yard that heavy. the max must use plastic blades?
Great video. I need that for my 1 acre here in Dale,Tx. I'm am interested in this. Thanx my friend.
Great video brother... I am getting one!
WOW That’s an awesome tool, I have to check this company out, thanks for sharing 👍🏾
Did way better than I thought it would
that thing is dope i need one
Thanks for the vid im going to try this out on my fs251r hope it fits
nice smooth cutting
Thank You so Much for your Video about the WeedShark! It was Amazing how Well it works. Was it difficult to install on your Trimmer? I have a Trimmer just like yours!
Pick the correct nut and screw it on.really is that simple.dont forget to use the spacer on the stihl model.
Cheers for the video, not a bad option to use.
I'll be buying 1! Thanks
I'm sold. Here in the UK, it's hard to find anything that cuts this well on mixed tough grass, nettles and brambles. The best I've got goes through line faster than I go through candy. And my 25cc Husqvarna can't cope with grass knives or brushcutter blades, dispite the dealer saying its a brushcutter.
Listen to that 4mix baby. Sounds like a quad doing doughnuts in that brush!
Damn that’s impressive!
I wonder if that will work on black berry bushes here in California
nice mulching action on that thing, lets see it do some rough out edgeing.
Wow that works good
got all the proper safety attire on
Thanks it very good and useful
Damn thats some quick cuttn!! I gotta get one bad... my house backs up to the river and we've got a lot of weeds coming up and Sandy backyard so there's a lot of rough as weeds and it's tearing my mower blades up quick so I think that would work perfect!
o heck yea! would destroy that with ease.best brush cutter i ever used. completly takes it to another level, thanks for watching!! Hope you get one soon
man its a beast
I shore like the way you tolk down there. Might have to get me one of them things too.
@@exterminator1 OK nice. However just saw this thing is going for $45 on Amazon. A little steep for me. Got some cheap metal imbedded in plastic 3 blades I used before instead. Thanks.
Head appears to work well. I use Stihl's 3 point brush cutter metal blade and it works great. can even cut small tree saplings.
Excellent
Nice guy... Very easy to watch video. Nice one buddy
That thing is badass will it cut through briar ?
can it fit on my stihl wacker?
i want one.
WOW , now that one I buy 😀
my initial thoughts was it be a pita to change the line all the time but after that abuse and no marks maybe it will last.. you should time how long it takes till you need to replace it!
will do bud.expect more vids of it.I was amazed as well.it dont just cut the grass it mulches it too lol.things a beast
A man's toy, oh yeah!
That is a cool tool! I don't know where you live but in the south where I live, I'd be wearing long pants and snake boots cutting in that crap.
you sold me!
Looks amazing
It is amazing! Def pick you one up from their website.I seen they have them in dealers as well.Hope my local dealers stock them too!
What you got a 4mix FS90r there? Whatever it is it sounds like the 4mix which I love the tone of since its not as annoying of a high pitched whine like most. You could use a slightly bigger model tho and a bike handle as well as long pants incase you hit a pebble. Glasses are also something you should have on for safety also since it only takes a moment and you cant go back. Hospital bills can cost a fortune too. Safety is a key element not to be ignored especially when cutting thru thick stuff cause you cant see the ground.
good advice.I have a lot of trimmers.i invite you to watch my other vids! thanks for watching!!
I do also. I have a FS36(old),FS(40)old one, FS70r, 2 FS75r's, a FS74r, FS76pro, FS90r, FS130(Should run good compression and passes the vacuum test but I don't know yet for sure), BR550, Br340, BR420, BR500(for parts only)and a few redmax tools(no trimmers), 011avt, 015L, TS400(Many issues still), and about half that amount of echo stuff. I also have about 8-9 good husqvarna chainsaws and a blower that has cracked motor mounts. Then a troybilt trimmer and some chinese items. Also a KRB700B which was my first blower that has dryer parts instead of the correct blowing tubes.
I forgot about the McCulloch BC 327 and PM310, timber bear chainsaw and a Deere blower BP50 since I sold my BP40 a few months ago. I am sure I will sell some other tools since I can't keep buying down stuff to see if I can get it going good again.
I want one!!!!
I need one of them, that's what some of the lots looks like, damn weeds 5" high...
That is awesome. I have a lot of underbrush. Will this handle that also and is it expensive?
Judith Hamilton does here in the mountains.super thick stuff eats more line(of course) but the teeth takes it down.they sent me a new one.they made the teeth even better! will have the vid up soon I hope
That's great! I've been using the Black and Decker cordless weedeater. It does well but the battery doesn't last long before having to recharge.
I have to get me one of them I got a shit load of weeds in my yard
Thanks for using the 90r we should see one on the 94r!!!
My baby aint gonna brush cut.he is weekly grass only lol. but 94r would def tear up some brush!
hey I need one of those and you want do that with a cheap weed eater
I need to get me one of them that worked good
Watch my newest vid and in the comments weedshark posted a link for a discount to my subscribers! Best and cheapest time to get one is today.I cant believe how good it is
awesome
would have love to see you put it on the trimmer.
I can make a video showing that. However weedshark has already made install vids on their youtube :)
Do you know if this will work on any brand of battery operated weed eater. Hard for me to start the gas powered.
gas only.those type of trimmers are very light duty.these are made for gas trimmers. go to a echo, stihl or husqvarna dealer and they have several models of assist starting trimmers.very easy to start and will last decades
Where it's available?
If there a brush cutter attachment that works with curved shaft trimmers? Anyone have a link to one?
I brought this item as it looked so good in the video. I put it on an Echo 210 ( really tuned well and reviving like a banshee) and I spent more time changing the line than I did weed whacking!! Put the old Echo head back on as least I could get a 20 minute run time rather than 2 or 3 minutes with the non advancing line in the weedshark. Also, I needed a set of needle nose pliars to change the line in the weedshark -- not mentioned. Maybr my weeds were thicker than your?????? I really wanted it to work as I do not but this type of equipment on a whin.
It depends on what time of year you are cutting and how long the brush has been growing. Also correct, diferent weed types, however if you look on their youtube page they trim some thick hard stuff! With any line you need to change it depending on the type.I do not work for them nor am i speaking on behalf of them. However i love mine.
Nor blaming you, just had high hopes shot down,,,,,,Not for the first time in my life.
Texas weed wacker massacre lmao great vi
We'd like to do this .....but what if there happens to be a (gulp) snake in those deep weeds?????
Rose B. You sic your pet weed shark on it. those metal shark teeth will make quick work of any snake this side of the Amazon...
Hahaha that thing sounds terrifying!
yes I did see that it just tore it up like butter lol
What size line is on there? I normally use .158 line for brush cutting.
what is the model number of the weedeater this head is attached to thanks man
what about the weed Shark mighty max? have you tried that and is it as good?
I have one of those as well.Works fine.but metal always better.as long as you dont hit rocks or concrete etc. Like em both.plus the people that own it are a family company.good people
Where is the link to get this I have my own lawn care and I want this on all my trimmers
What cc is your weed eater
Weed shark company I want your pro series trimmer head
what's your opinion of using this as your sole trimming head?
I honestly dont have one.I use traditional heads for lawn care.I have no doubt it would accomplish the task with super ease(probably quicker too). maybe i need to do that one day and see
That was poison ivy that got tangled in it.
look at those white legs lol. great video. got get me one of those heads
lol i have some sexy white legs for sure! The weedshark is amazing! Well you seen it made little work of that grass.I was amazed how good it is :) thanks for watching bud!!
how much cost
Wicked!!
make it bigger plate size so I can put it on my mower .use it as a mulch blade .
cost
Oddly, has the best feature, width = quicker job.
Hey, what kind of wacker do you have?
if you are referring to string trimmer, the one in this video is a stihl fs90r
Will it work on a Husqvarna 128 LD
It would work, but not as good as the fs90 in this vid.I have a 128ld(see in other vids) and I honestly wouldnt use it.128ld doesnt have enough torque. thanks for watching
cut that think stuff like it was nothing great video 👏👏👏👏👏👏
why you don't use a guard?
I hate them lol.Get in the way and slow you down.Mowing a lot of lawns every week , every minute counts.
red vs blue
man, get a pair of boot. i work with this kind of bushes, and sometimes the are some snakes in there. and even some insects like centipedes.
I have plenty of boots(i live in the mountains). I also am aware of snakes and bugs(as I am an exterminator) But if you would have listened you would have heard it wasn't planned and i was...just listen... lol.....thanks for watching!!
pheww.. living in the mountains, what a nice place to be home! have a good life, sir. for gardening is one of my hobbies.
after you use the weedshark mow it after so it's looks nicer
that is on the edge of my property which i dont mow(i mow to much as it is lol) thanks for watching!!
You're supposed to use the gaurd with it!, think what that would do to your leg if it touched it!... I hope that no one copies you!....install it properly!....
Still don't see what the teeth do. The line is the only thing touching the material while it's running. Centrifugal force whips the line out with tremendous force, the notched blade thingy never touched the material.
You can clearly see where the teeth was hitting after i get done. Some brush is so thick it doesnt simply "cut it".Instead it pulls it into the teeth.Sounds weird at first but I can assure you it does. They explain it better on their youtube page. Also its a family owned business with great people behind it.Reach out to them , they will happily explain more im sure. Thanks for watching!
I would bet my life the metal blade absolutely touched and cut a lot of the thicker brush. Obviously the string is flexible and when the bush gets thick enough the string is pressed back far enough for the metal blade to become a huge factor. Also regardless of centrifugal force the way he brings the Wacker from above and presses straight down the teeth immediately become in contact.
I will still wear pants if it's 100° outside. hope you don't get into poison plants.
I do as well on the job.But i was home taking online class and decided to run outside and make a vid. i dont have reactions to anything. But safety first!! like i said in the vid "dont do what i do" lol thanks for watching!!
good review i like watching ur videos
Visit my Amazon store! Everything from my boots I wear to trimmer line I use!! Will add more soon! www.amazon.com/shop/influencer20170928944?ref=ac_inf_hm_vp
