    Pasture is a great blessing👍
really don't need hay from spring to fall.
Graze from spring to fall, hay during the winter
Generally it takes 30 min a day in your garden between weeding and watering

I'm moving my milk cows to a neighbors pasture in the morning and home in the evening. I have halters on my girls and tie them to my atv and walk them. My slowest girl will do 3mph. I use the atv to halter break all my calves, unless they are to squirrely.. then I use the tractor.

We raise them to be responsible adults but are sad when they go. It is such a blessing when they return by choice. ❤🙌

What a blessing. As a mother of 3. Three yrs ago my two older children moved away. One left to a new state and the other one went off to college but it was only 2 hrs away. Well she graduated last December . Now she and her boyfriend moved 7 hrs away. I still have a teenager at home but it's definitely difficult and different. ❤ lots of hugs.

I'm sure you have probably heard of Hugelkultur gardening...We are trying it out this year since our raised beds are deep. We already paid way too much for a load of compost and all the lumber to build the beds... putting branches and other yard waste in the bottom we only had to fill half with compost.

Can you put pool noodles (cut them in half lengthwise), over the top of those metal cages where you cut the rounded edges off.?

I raised five kids. I know what it’s like when they slowly start becoming their own person and eventually leave home, but I have adjusted and I’m living my best life right now you spend most of your life taking care of everybody else and all of a sudden you get to do the things you like

Christa/Brad I know you’re proud of each one of your children. This is a tiny test run for both Hope and Caleb. It will give them some experience going out and communicating with others. They will be just fine as you know because you have given them the training they will need to be successful adults. Oh and this is off subject I know but if you need postage stamps better buy them now. Postage rates are going up on July 14th.

Get your feed bucket let them smell it but not eat it. That’s the best way to entice them back to the barn.
