I took my daughter to see this band at Yale. Best move of my life. It is in her genetic code now.
that's one kind of teaching that will thank you all her life, for sure... well done!
nate smith is incredibbile
He's a machine
@@urbanopuig-domenech4380 A machine with a soul. Hot...
Wonderful !!!
Widziałem ich w 2006 w Poznaniu (Polska) - nie zapomnę tego... Wspaniały koncert.
handsome grooves - yes indeed!
What a groove! And in 7/4 time! Awesome.
Nate SMITH!!!!!!
Great Performance, All around just so tight and locked in. Nate Smith is amongst the greatest in my book. Chris there is no say as always looking for new journies to create. Robin what great sound and tone, solos were all awesome. Last two tunes omg, my favorite, especially due to Chris Potter's Solo.
Fantastico !!!!!
Amazed about Chris Potter's solos. Love all of it. Nate Smith is incredible, flying drums...
Nate Smith's sound on drums is miserable!
I do so wish I was there at that time!
MITICO !!!
I watched a number of covers of this piece, never boring, the drummer has made of this piece his own groove. I dont want to know what time signature is, just enjoy!
uhh ra mxeci bandaa!! madloba alex! Thanks a lot!
yeahhhh
Thanks for this. I like this quintet, especially with Nate Smith. I've never seen a bass shaped like that. Any comments on that? I'd like to know more about it.Thanks again.
Chris Potter is the Godzilla of saxophone.
Like, how do you even compose this?

Vitoria and Gasteiz is the same but in different languages, but San Sebastian is another city...
Thanks, I corrected the title.
I love this band so much, but Chris Potter's soprano sax tone is far too strident & tight; no vibrato at all. Bass clarinet on The Winding Way would have been sweet blending w/ the trombone's earthy quality. Robin's playing on The Secret Garden kicks ass! Nate's drum solo on the 1st tune is phenomenal; so tasty. Is Dave's bass a custom design; it looks so unique.
Chris Potter is in poor taste! He is just flexing his muscles!
gosh-darn...please tell that there at least ONE time where the bassist doesn't just give up on his solo in less than a minute or so..if thats his get down i feel sorry for his woman..;p. get it together man you are embarrassing bass players everywhere..!!
bass sucks
