I saw one of those SOE sets as a kid in England in the early 70s it’s what got me into ham radio. Someone I knew had it in his attic. If that’s how much a water damaged one goes for, I hate to think how much one in good condition would fetch. If I win the lottery this is what I will buy, along with an Enigma machine.
we had the ship-breaking yeard and worlds radio come to shore but all were broken and none of indians hams had those intacts. few peoples monopolied over it, hoarded and sold. but mostly all those radios were hammered and broken down, non-use. it was sad.

Was that 2000 kroner for that lovely Collins? That was a bargain.
Steike! Det var heftige priser på mye av det utstyret. Tusen takk for en knallbra video, skulle ønske det var slike begivenheter her i Trondheim.

Quite a few spy and military transceivers. WW2 and cold war.
And at the same time young people interested at this dying hobby search for a cheap transceiver.
Cheap? This is vintage collectors stuff, but you could use it (With a license...)
