Starting at 4:30 AM, I traveled through some of the most scenic and exciting routes, including the newly opened Bakrakota Bridge, the Baharampur Bypass, and the iconic Farakka Barrage. The journey was filled with breathtaking views of tea gardens, the Teesta River, and the untouched beauty of offbeat places around Kalimpong.
After an 8.5-hour ride, I reached Siliguri by 1:30 PM and continued through mesmerizing off-road paths to Jhandi village, arriving at my cozy homestay by 5:30 PM. The adventure didn't end there-we enjoyed a hilarious and peaceful night walk after a delicious dinner amidst the serene vibes of Kalimpong.
