I'd say Bruce Lee is the king of MARTIAL ARTS; he had his own style entirely, which was beyond the Kung Fu he was rooted in. I say Gordon Liu is the King of Kung Fu. Man's a beast.
@@mixmastercj100 It wasn't a style though, Jeet Kuen Do was a philosophy. As for "King of Kung Fu", I'd say someone like Lau Kar Leung is more deserving of that title. I love Gordon but he pales into comparison to Lau Sifu.
When I heard that Sonny Chiba was in KILL BILL I was thrilled, Sonny will get to show his skill in a MAJOR MOTION PICTURE! If anybody was going to UNLEASH SONNY CHIBA it would be Quentin Tarantino! Imagine my ABSOLUTE DISGUST to find out that all he did was give the GREAT SONNY CHIBA a TALKING PART??!! A TALKING PART??!! You have got to be joking! Just imagine if Tarantino had given Sonny a part where he helped KIDDO fight the CRAZY 88! SONNY CHIBA WITH A SAMURAI SWORD IS A THING OF ABSOLUTE BEAUTY! I mean give the man some ACTION SCENES he wasn't too old! At least give him one or two? Still to this day I can't believe Tarantino DROPPED THE BALL like that!

triumphmanful first action scene I guess you talk about. That is called Mine-Uchi(Mountain-Strike). Mine means the back side of the katana without blades. Traditionally in Sword-fighting stories, Mine-Uchi is show that mercy of the protagonist who has kind heart.

I know I’m going to get flack for this but Mr Chiba is my favorite of cinemas martial arts masters. The street fighter series was awesome.

dvdを実際に観たけれどイマイチよく分からない映画でした。この頃千葉ちゃんは60歳代。丁度私の年齢。とても千葉ちゃんの様に身体を動かす事など不可能です。（笑）あと20年ほど前に世界進出していればどえらい俳優になっていたのに… その代り柳生十兵衛はなかったかもしれない。
