the heavy pause as Brennan is staring at Lou absolutely kills me... you can simultaneously see Brennan, the master improviser, plotting out the funniest possible reaction this character could have, whilst also being so in character as Gertie that he looks like he's experiencing genuine rage at Fabian's comment about his bees
The added detail is that Brennan knows there's a camera on him so he's giving the editors that extra few seconds to cut in and set up the punchline _while_ he's constructing it

@@IrisGlowingBlue Same. The fact that she gets a character portrait (like Sprak LeFevre) in this episode gives me hope that we see more interactions with her, or possibly even a miniature (probably for fighting AGAINST the Bad Kids, thanks to Fabian 🤣).

@NKULTRA94 Yeah, I went on the wiki, and looking at all the characters who have gotten illustrations, there's a lot of them, but I am surprised how very few of them feel superflous.
If I had to pick right now, the three that seem the most unnecessary are Skrank Douglas, Zayn Darkshadow and Corsica Jones. Honestly makes me really excited, we've seen tons of art, but it's been sparing enough that I feel like we will see most of them again.

There’s something wild about soil club having 12 members and the aviation league has 5 is the wildest part

Like yeah it was definitely Fabian being a coward to an extent but also he was yelling at Kristen cause “I SACRIFICED MY RELATIONSHIP WITH HER-FOR NOTHING” and in the preview for next episode Lou points out “I don’t think I can ask Macey for help with Bard class” so like. Maybe there will be a revelation for Fabian…somewhere in this season.
In the adventuring party afterwards, they bring out how Fabian is representing the teenage feeling of Toxic=Different and Interesting, so he goes after Rude girls, because they’re “exciting”

I mean Fabian could've at least waited until she was out of the room before insulting her honey, Brennan is such a great imoroviser to be able to flip a situation so drastically on the fly

Even with all the party buffing her and rebuffing Fabian she failed to disarm him, and he landed his attack, even though she resisted the trip attempt that came with it. Granted we don’t know for sure how the fight would’ve gone, but just based off that first turn I think it’s safe to say Fabian had the upper hand. (It could’ve also been bad dice rolls, but there’s no proof stated to make us think that)

Something that probably won't come up, but assuming Aguefort's graduating classes are about average (which is about 137 students in the US) then Riz has secured a not-insignificant amount of votes already.
Granted it's kinda hard to tell just how large Aguefort actually is; public schools in metropolitan areas have significantly larger class sizes than smaller towns, so the average may not be a good measuring stick.
