OMG, thanks to this vid I now know the names of the Arcade Rhythm games I used to play like TechMania. In my country they didn't set it to English so I never knew what the name was
main thing which made Quaver map cool is cut. (the 7 note chord spam SV and it forming a hieroglyph being written with bars) i get that's done to show that Quaver is not just an SV game, but it's still pretty known for negative SV shenanigans. just disappointing, that would attract more people to the game, you know.
Guessing the Cytus one was fanmade; I've unlocked every song in the first game and don't remember DADADA(etc) being part of the songlist. sucks though as I have the intense need to play this now 😔

Because why not Often times fanmade charts are higher quality as there's no financial incentive for the mapper, and thus more passion is put into the project than a large game dev studio would put into their game
tbh one should owe the rising popularity of what would otherwise be an unknown song to word-of-mouth via the fanbase. If Osu did not promote the song, which by itself could had been unofficial even illegal, will the song gain popularity in other rhythm games today?

The arcade game is called DJMax Technika. One over here is a simulator. Requires a touch screen, of course.
You can play woth with keyboard or keyboard and mouse
But yeah touchscreen still has the best experience, you can also play it on mobile if you want
