And also:
X cube - 3x²y + 3xy² -y cube

I think because we might not get the answer which we have to get written on back page of the text where chapter's answers are given but i would say that when you do these questions in ruff book or during exams do with the appropriate identity

why can't we use the indentity no.7 which is
(x-y)³ = x³ - y³ -3xy(x-y)
=x³ -3x²y + 4xy² -y³
Agar ap vaise bhi karoge to same value hi aaegi.. ye ap pe depend karta hai ki aap kon sa formula use kar rhe ho..

But generally we will put ( x-y)³ in this (iv) question.
And if you will put ( x+y)³ noting will change in the answer but the fact will be that you will take x=x here but +y = -2/3y .
You have to only assume that here +y = -2/3 y and we have also seen these cases in previous questions of the ex.
