Abbreviated Transcript:
00:47 Although its not uncommon to see rivets used in the construction, I've decided to make this key from brass sheet and rod stock, and then soft solder the components together.
00:58 To form the blind recess, I've divided the shaft into 2 parts. One part will have a slot formed to receive the flat grip, and a spigot turned on its other end.
01:08 The other part which I'm calling the endpiece, will have a square hole formed in one end, and a recess drilled in the other to accept the spigot. Once the 2 parts are assembled, it'll look like a single uniform piece. So starting with the endpiece, I cleaned up the stock and then formed the required holes.
01:53 Now that square hole can certainly be formed using some careful filing. But in this case I formed it using a small arbor press and a custom square broach, made specifically to match the size of the winding square on the arbor.
02:40 With the fit confirmed, I used some flux to
prepare the join, and then soft soldered the end piece in place. A skim cut is enough to clean up that surface, and a series of decorative grooves adds to the presentation. The key will benefit from having a chamfered edge inside that open end, to make it easier to locate it on the winding square, so I formed that next, before parting off to profile the other end.
05:33 And speaking of soldering, I'm aiming to use the bare minimum here, just enough to wick into the gap, to reduce the cleanup afterwards. On first inspection, it looks like a good join. There's a small run of the solder at the previous join I made with the end piece, but that'll be easy enough to scrape off in a moment.
05:55 The main thing is that there's a nice uniform
fillet of solder around the entire seam, leaving just a bit of cleanup work with files and abrasive paper. A light hand polish, and that's the winding key complete. Now before I move on to the final polish and assembly, there's a few loose ends to tie up.
07:27 I removed the pins by simply filing them flush with the surface, but the tapered holes require a bit more work. Each tapered hole was drilled out to permit a slightly more substantial pin, to be hammered in with a tight interference fit.
07:55 The pin was then lightly riveted, filed flush with the surface of the frame, and then blended into the surrounding metal with abrasive paper. Which brings me to the home stretch of this build, and in fact the entire series: The final polish.
08:16 Each brass component must be given the full finishing treatment, starting with a medium grade abrasive paper, and then working through the grits until all trace of the previous grit has been removed.
08:28 The paper can be used wet or dry, but I find I get a much crisper result, and use a lot less paper, if I use it wet. It also helps to keep the cross contamination between grits to a minimum. After each grit the tray can be emptied and cleaned to start fresh on the next grit.
08:47 And the polish is applied in a similar way using small sections of soft cotton cloth. So after 23 episodes, and the fabrication of more than 100 separate components, this is it. The clock is finally ready for assembly.

Making The Key, Final Polishing And Assembly, by Clickspring.
We need a video just of this thing running. No music, no editing needed. Just tick tock for about an hour.
Agreed.
C'mon Chris. Give us a clip of just the clock running, possibly on a rotating platform so that we can see all of the workings.
I'd watch that.
joblessalex Agreed
Agree!!! "contemplation time" is needed!
Wholeheartedly agree.... we must see the clock in action.... this clock was such a fantastic labor of love to watch being made for so long. I am so torn to see it finally finished. You have so much talent and skill and it is so fantastic and rare in our age.
Perhaps you could sell merely the clock key... I know it's silly but I'd buy just that.
I've been watching videos on UA-cam since 2006 and in my opinion there is no video or series of videos more calming, inspiring, and jaw-dropping than yours. Thank you Chris, and look very much forward to your next series.
"jaw-dropping" is the real word about this serie. Excellent choice of words.
How have you been watching his videos since 2006 if the oldest video on this channel is only 1 year old? Does he have another channel? If so, please share!
+tssguy123 I meant watching videos on UA-cam in general.
Eric Chang turns out I can't read :)
I 100% agree! I've always said that his is the best "amateur" produced content on UA-cam! It is simply incredible Chris's attention to detail and his ability to clearly tell the story of his work. An incredible trait to have and it's inspired me as I complete my thesis work in engineering. Thank you +clickspring !
The clock build itself is so exceptional that it might be easy to overlook the overwhelming excellent production values involved in the production of the video alone. Amazing camera work, animation and wonderful audio and narration. Thank you for sharing this adventure.
Terrific to have you watching mate :)
I grew up with a Family run machine shop, where we Machined Bronze and Brass for underwater lights. I've been around machinists my whole life. Sir, this is a Master's Piece. Bravo.
Wow, the day has finally arrived
NightHawkInLight took a while but definitely worth it
I didn't think i'd find you on a clickspring video, but its hard to resist such amazing craftsmanship
NightHawkInLight It was you who mentioned Clickspring in a video ages ago which turned me onto this channel. Thank you for that! I'm glad I've been able to see this journey because of your suggestion!
Kevin Korthuis same here
Whenever I see your icon I think Netscape.
The craftsmanship in both video quality and of course the masterpiece is just jaw dropping. Seeing your videos pop up is always a treat and I can't wait to see what's next!
And of course I was playing with the Impossible Dovetail while watching this episode ;)
Ha ha! Terrific to hear that mate :)
PNathan Fantastic stuff indeed! You are a great inspiration for me!
PNathan I absolutely agree with you 100%
Wow, "attention to detail" would watch this video and subscribe to him if he was a person! :)
Whenever I see a finished piece on this channel I never feel certain that it's real and not a superimposed CAD model
this is 100% building a clock, from design, metallurgy, to the fabrication of tools & parts, prep work, assembly, narration, editing & the science of how it works. This is the best i have ever seen & most complete on a subject. Thanks for the journey & to many more.
Not going to lie, I got a little misty-eyed when I saw this coming to an end. But now I have only to look forward to the next project. Good luck, and keep making.
same here man can't wait to see the next project
One more for the "this is almost sad" feelings.
Yes, it is like the ending of a very good book. So satisfying to have completed it, yet sad that the journey is over. Thankfully I believe we only have more great things in-store from ClickSpring Chris.
your not the only one mate...
"Yes, it is like the ending of a very good book." - I can't wait to see the sequel!
A perfect ending to this phenomenal series. Thank you Chris.
Cheers Nils :)
Hi Clickspring!
I'm a 18 old boy who's learning engineering and turning. I have watched all of your videos and I'am amazed by your precise work and project. I have learned a lot from you, and want to thank you. Please make more videos, we are relly enjoying it! :)
-Martin
That thing’s so polished and well cut it looks like a computer rendering
Holy shit... I'm actually speechless! To see this mechanical wonder come to life under the hands of a horological master is simply breathtaking! Chris, you deserve the highest of praise for what you've achieved here. I'm not just talking about you creating this masterpiece. I'm talking about the inspiration you've given to all of us to, in a world of disposables, make something permanent! I can't wait to see what emerges from your workshop next!
I'm only 17, but one day I'm going to build a clock, and I'm going to put in the same effort and dedication as you've shown here!
PS: I can't be the only one who would love to do an apprenticeship with Chris!
I'm actually crying. I'm so sad it's over been watching since the second episode. Good job and amazing work! Hope you continue to make more videos though.
Definitely more videos, expect details on the next project soon
Steam engine? Locomotive? Tiny V8?
Yisroel Sabel I even enjoy watching him make his custom tools and jigs!
pmm4177 of course! Who wouldn't? Every second is pure beauty. He could literally show u how to create garbage and i would be mesmerized.
I know what you mean I definitely feel oddly sad that its finished. I feel like I know every part of that close so well now!
There isn't a single element of this video that isn't simply astounding.
Chris, your clock is the zenith of craftsmanship.
One of the few video series that deserves the word awesome. Truly amazing attention to detail in the craftsmanship, video editing and audio post production. A new standard by which others will be measured. I simply cannot find enough superlatives to describe what you've achieved here. I'm almost speechless with admiration and gratitude.
Thank you for the kind words mate, very much appreciated :)
+Bernhard Hofmann - Totally second that notion, you've said it all so well. Chris has demonstrated performance across the board on all levels as noted, a true Sensei of many Crafts. Thanks for your inspiring work!
Fuck man.. I really wish I could use words good like you. I’m not kidding.. well said. Made me shed a tear
You kept your tear in a shed? Must have been a pretty big tear...
What he said mate ...awesome in the true sense of the word.
I would strongly recommend that you add a part 24: making a glass case for the skeleton clock. If ever there was an exhibition quality clock, this is it, and the beautiful polish should not suffer from dust. I do not remember how ME judges clocks, but this one I would personally rate prize-winning. Comes the question of what shape of case. Tradition would demand a bell-shaped case. Kind of difficult to machine glass :), but they are commercially available at least in the UK.
Mrs Clickspring purchased a beautiful cabinet for it a few months ago - mahogany with glass sides, perfectly airtight and safe. Also plenty of room in it for a few more projects... Cheers mate :)
Excellent!
Mechanical songbird next?
No, a gong :)
I’m a retired plastic injection mould toolmaker and I find your skill, fit and finish awesome Chris. Thank you for the videos.👍👍👍
Thanks very much, great to have you watching mate :)
Same here, I have made some impressive high precision stuff in my day but Chris' skill is in a different league. The quality of the video's are also amazing too.
I've just finished watching the video and commenting this after staring at the screen with my jaw open for full ten minutes. Holy fuck! Now after binge watching the entirety of 23 episodes what am I going to do with my life? The patience, skill, creativity, and the attention to details is unparalleled to any other channel I have ever seen. Thank you for bringing this to my life.
I'm a bit sad that this is over, but extremely excited about what's coming next.
Völundr Frey I guess something similar that is not a clock. Maybe a thermometer?
Next time, to really go that "extra mile", I expect you to mine the copper and zinc and smelt it from the raw ore to make your brass from...
Excellent work, and bitter sweet to see it all come to an end, it was entertaining all the while.
But you know there's four other channels on UA-cam of craftsmen showing off doing just that. :)
Any particular suggestions?
Most don't come close to the meticulous quality and advanced presentation of Clickspring...
so what?
You can find UA-cam channels for probably everything he did here really, at least the basic knowledge, but watching them means I'm not watching Clickspring's amazing video quality production.
Also, he made his own tools and things like screws completely from scratch. Wouldn't surprise me to much to see him mine his own metal. lol
Nobody Uknow that is not really all that entertaining it would be crushing each ore putting it in a crucible heating it scooping dross then making shot of copper and zinc aluminum by pouring each into water then measuring out the right combination of the 2-3 metals putting them in a crucible and melting them then pouring that in a mold.
24 hours is a Day...
24 chapters is an Incredible journey...
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
I have to say, 'Sparkle much'? Absolutely beautiful work and workmanship. Once I started watching I couldn't stop.
Truly a masterpiece. Congratulations on bringing this to a breathtaking conclusion.
Thank you Paul, I appreciate your support :)
Omg I'm so late. I didn't get the notification until today. dude its fucking amazing. is so bitter sweet. I loved watching your work but I wanted to see the finished clock so badly. I can't wait to see the next project. really you've done a fantastic job making a one of a kind piece I hope you and/or the owner cherish it. hope you see this.
Thank you mate :)
So glad you saw this. Thanks so much for sharing your talents. Have a good one.
Bike Rash double that! Bitter sweet! Amazing work!
Bloody awesome! It's so rare to see talent like this any more, keep up the awesome work.:D
So I think it's been three days since I started watching this series... I'll be damned if it hasn't been a hell of a ride. You are _awesome_ in the traditional sense of the word. Thank you, Chris, for showing me things I never knew I loved.
Terrific to have you watching :)
That is not only the most beautiful clock I have ever seen but quite possibly the most beautiful THING I have ever seen!.
I've watched every episode and I still don't know how the damn thing tells time. Joking aside, I don't know how you're ever gonna top this. It's like the pinnacle of art and engineering.
The clock is so perfect that time dare not contradict it.
I am so stealing that!
A masterpiece, not merely of a clock but of ordering the instructional aspect of the construction, cinematic quality and the cheerful friendly voice of our guide and teacher. What a terrific series and why not sell it or license it to a public television channel? I hope you have given thought to that avenue of distribution and if not that you consider it. I'm not saying it is *that* good. I am saying it is several rungs up on the offerings available right now in the public domain.
His care and perfectionist streak extend to the videos themselves, and I love that. He's not only an amazing clock maker (in his spare time!), but the editing and narration are terrific.
Stephen Thompson I am always amazed how much stock he leaves behind to file it down by hand! I would always try to remove as much in one go and thereby risk ruining it.
I have watched this entire series for at least two times. Some episodes five times. Again. No words to describe how amazed I am.
I almost cried when you said "this is it".
I can imagine your satisfaction with such marvelous piece of art.
On the one end of the spectrum, there's making things as cheap as they can be to milk the most amount of money possible from customers. On the other end, there are people like you, who are master craftsmen with great skill and pride in their bespoke work. I could never afford your work, but I do appreciate and respect it. Thank you for sharing your videos, Chris.
Thank you mate, and thanks for tuning in :)
What an incredible series, brought to us by such a talented man. We are wildly lucky for Chris to be so giving as to dedicate so much time filming it for our benefit. His time has taught as all, professional fabricators and fresh eyes alike, something new and amazing. He no doubt has inspired many to get off the couch and internet and do something creative and constructive. Making both that person and the world a better place. We all owe Chris our gratitude. Thank you Sir!!!
Very kind words Evan, thank you :)
Damn, feels like an end of an era
This series is an absolute treasure. Thank you.
Chris,
There are some who would describe what you have done as "mere craft." Sod them: it is all art, mate, with a capital A.
And for the craft aspect, well, you taught me a shirt load in these 20+ short videos, and I am extremely grateful.
May you thrive and prosper.
Terrific to hear that Greg, and very pleased you're enjoying the vids, the best is yet to come :)
...I don't know what to do now that it's done. Probably rewatch the whole thing again. This has been my single favorite series on UA-cam, and probably always will be.
Look up "Bad Obsession Motorsport".
I agree. Wow. Just wow. This has been an amazing series. There's really no other channel on UA-cam that gets me as excited for a new video
Very kind of you Noah, thank you :)
Chris this series has been amazing. I have been watching the series for months now with my nine year old daughter and your work has made her decide that she wants to learn machining as well. I told her she needs to be a little older first we will figure something out soon. Thank you for this inspirational series and I look forward to your next project.
Wow awesome to hear that! Get her a little Sherline for her b'day :)
Fabulous. This is encouraging me to get my two antique grandfather clocks serviced, they have been in storage for years awaiting a permanent home.
This video is the reason we watch you Chris!
this channel and badObsession motorsports are my absolute favorite.
Can't get enough of project Binky!
10:46 It's so shiny and flawless it looks like a computer simulation.
Like a graphics benchmark test with everything maxed out. It looks TOO real :O
Funny how if you make a CGI model if this it's actually easier to make something as flawless as this, and to make it look realistic you have put some defects on the surface, some tool marks and all that.
ElecDiy Thats because he has almost to chamfers. Those are often missing in CAD models and therefore also missing in renderings. Allmost all objects in reality have chamfers apart from knifes and maybe crystals. Thats why humans think chamfer less objects look odd. -somebody that knows how to do renderings :
Being straight polished brass - won't this tarnish up pretty quick? I can't imagine tearing this down every so often to do the cleaning - yikes... Could it be coated with lacquer or something to prevent that?
I rewatched his bezel video and there he used a tiny amount of varnish.
Just found this channel and had a go at all 23 Parts of the presentation over 24 hours. I do a little building myself but nothing near this. its simply amazing. Attention to detail and perfection. Got to respect the craftsmanship and work put in.
WOW! The best part is learning some tricks and tips along the journey. Beautiful work.
MAG. NIF. I. CENT. I'd store this masterwork in a clean room with a non-oxidizing atmosphere.
I watched the entire series while abed with the flu. I had to keep reminding myself that this precision and these breathtaking surface finishes are happening on TINY parts viewed under uncommon magnification. Even the application of Dykem is an art form here.
Love the spectacularly sharp video and the golden lighting that makes the brass glow like treasure.
Terrific to have you watching Mr A
My old man and I would watch these together. This was beautiful to see made and watch as a full production. My husband is a film editor so I appreciate the time these must take you to edit and render. A plus work mate.
Cheers Hallie, appreciate your encouragement :)
Thank you very much I enjoyed all 23 episodes of clock making. I learned so much.
I have been so engrossed with the series that it's taken watching it through for the second time to realize that you are LEFT handed.
Know wonder some of the things you have done were easy for me to copy being a lefty myself.
Brilliant series, thank you Chris.
I thought the finger cots were a bit overkill, but considering you've spent the last two years making it, there is no such thing as overkill. Beautiful piece, and it's been a wonderful time watching you make this from start to finish.
Keeping hand oils off the brass is essential to ensure a pristine patina over the next few decades. Any contact at all will show up within 24 hrs as an obvious mark, and ruin the effect. Great to have you watching mate :)
Tell me about it, I handled copper tubing while assembling a primary coil and it's hideous now.
Chris: Congratulations, congratulations, congratulations. What an incredible day this must be for you. The clock is unspeakably beautiful and I can't wit to see what you do next.
Thank you mate!! I was kinda off the mark on the ETA I gave you for the finish tho!! You are going to get a kick out of the next one, will try very hard to spin off something from it to Make:
Your content is always welcome with us. :) Looking forward to it.
I just binged watched the clock making series. Fantastic!
I have no words to classify, resuming, art ... you are an artist !!!
Simply one of the best channels on UA-cam. The clock is beautiful, your camerawork and lighting are excellent, and your editing, voice-over, and post are first rate. I've never turned metal in my life but you have me examining every piece of machining I come across, day dreaming about its construction.
Ha ha! Terrific to hear that mate! Be warned, the next step is suddenly finding yourself flicking through lathe catalogs...
I genuinely can't wait for the next project!
This man is not a maker in the sense that we all think - the electronics/woodworking/metalworking hobbyists/semi-proffesionsals. He is an artisan.
HOLY CRAP !!!
That is just astonishingly beautiful
This is like finishing a really good book, and knowing you're not going to be in that world anymore. Bittersweet.
Really enjoyed this series. Great project, and your video production is top notch.
What a Beauty! That's right, it deserves a capital B. A masterpiece and a true work of art!
I'm sorry, but what is a capital B?
Another word for uppercase...
just rewatched this entire series. so beautiful.
Inspirational channel to a young tradesman. Great filmwork, skill, talent and dedication.
You know that scene in Toy Story 2 with the toy maker who comes in to refurbish Woody? I'm drawn to the attention to detail and the imagination and consideration taken with every facet of Woody's final appearance. This project along with your masterful editing evokes much the same emotion.
It cannot be said enough, my friend...well done. Very well done indeed! I am completely inspired!
So pleased you enjoyed it Nathan :)
Amazing work Chris, someday I'll sit down and build one in my shop, until then I can sit and drool over yours. Good luck in all your future endeavors
Thank you Levi
I just finished all 23 parts. ...THAT. WAS. EPIC. I wish I had the equipment, materials, time, and most importantly the patience and skill to do something like this, because if just *watching* you do it was so profoundly rewarding, then I can't even imagine how rewarding actually doing it must be.
Also... a friend of mine once told me something that I didn't quite understand until watching your videos: "The man who builds his own things using only his wits and some tools is a king among men, but the man who builds his own tools is a god among ants."
I don't know why but I was almost brought to tears watching that clock fully assembled. This has been the best UA-cam series ever done. The clock is beautiful. Excellent work as always. Looking forward to the next project!
Wow... Just Wow! What a thing of beauty in motion it is. I have throughly enjoyed watching the progression. Thank you for sharing this amazing build with us. Your skills as a maker of clocks and of videos are to be aspired to. I am looking forward to the next series, but till then I think I will binge watch the complete series.
Congratulations on the build may it run forever and always be true.
I absolutely love these videos. I don't know what it is, but whenever I feel stressed out, I like to watch the videos of this series. There's something soothing about watching the clock components pop out of their embryonic materials. I boarded the train at episode 12, and have excitedly awaited each episode since.
Breathtaking craftsmanship. Unparalleled presentation with everything from the camerawork to the strategic use of time-lapse to the narration/explanation.
UA-cam at its best.
Thank you very much Braden, terrific to have your support, next one is going to be a lot of fun :)
Awesome! I binged all 23 episodes at once.
When I prepare some piece of engineering (Which i didn't modeled) to render in some 3d software, I add subtle irregularities, speckles, condensation, fingerprints and dust, to make it "look real", or not that sharp-flat-shiny-edgy. When you show your work, you file, true flat, clean and polish every single little corner. You are a source of inspiration.
Chris, we miss you bud! Let's get another project on the go!
I think he still does projects but mostly for patreon afaik. He still does stuff on clickspring clips though
Can we get a 24 hour video of the clock running?
pretty please?
Dagg That's what I asked for! Well, actually a 12 hour video that we can loop. I figure plenty of people would just loop it. I can even see a few people making a dedicated device out of an old phone or something to display that video in their home, the closest most of us could ever get to having such a beautiful piece of craftsmanship and art.
Dagg Being a 12 hour clock 24 hours seems a bit pointless. But yes, a time lapse video would good.
Ya! I want to listen to it lose a second over 24 hours.
These videos are better produced than most things you see on the television. Keep up to good work and cheers from Cleveland Ohio
I am at a loss of worlds and can only simply say, WOW!!!!!! JUST WOW!!!!!!!!
That's a gorgeous final product, Chris. I've only been following for a few weeks, but I binged watched all the episodes to get caught up.
I really look forward to the next project you have to show us.
Terrific to have you on board mate, next one is going to be a hoot :)
Clickspring what do you think of making a sextant?
+Anubis Vex Yes a good suggestion, will add it to the todo list :)
What about a telescope with extendable wooden legs?
Matthew Smith... I know right! I've been watching since episode 1. I've been waiting for this day for sooooo long! But it was definitely worth the wait. That is THE most beautiful clock I have ever seen in my life. Great job my friend.
What an absolute masterpiece Chris. Congratulations. Can't wait to see what is next mate :)
Thank you Jess - super excited about the next one :)
Clickspring what will the next one be? hint?
Breathtakingly meticulous perfection!!!
That should be in the Museum Of Modern Art!!
This series has got to be one of the best I've ever come across. It's like a mini masters class in precision machining. You make it look so much easier than it actually is. Thanks so much for not only sharing this project but the incredible detail to attention in making the videos. Including the graphic overlays, sound recording and narration. Simply outstanding!
Thank you Joe, I appreciate the encouragement :)
Amazing. Congratulations - what an accomplishment!
Cheers Ryan!
Thank You. i have rarely seen or experienced such attention to detail as you have shown. Its says a lot about you as a person . You should be extremely proud .
Amazing to see a real craftsman at work.
Been watching since AvE sent me here. This is so great. That clock in the prettiest thing (outside of the iDemon R34 skyline) I have seen in years.
Over the past couple of weeks I've watched this series from start to finish, and I've never seen anything like it. The quality of the build, the narration, camerawork, editing, sound... absolutely all of it exudes quality. It's not overstating things to say this series is a masterpiece. Thank you Chris!
Very much appreciate the kind words Sam, thank you :)
@ 10.45
Great to have you watching mate :)
I am in awe, your skill and craftsmanship couldn't be any better. Thanks for the experience!!
The finished product is beyond gorgeous, a true masterpiece. I have to say I was thoroughly entertained from beginning to end, not once did I feel bored or otherwise distracted. Your work ethic is amazing and your attention to detail is above meticulous, a perfectionist would blush with envy. I do look forward with great anticipation to your next project, so lets make it happen. Thank you for doing such a wonderful job keeping us entertained.
I've been a toolmaker for 45 years now, but nothing compares to the work and craftsmanship that you present in these videos. I'm totally amazed at the attention to the tiniest detail, and the absolutely stunning work. You have way more patience than I'll ever have, and it shows.I would also like to commend you on the quality of your video work as well. The super sharp close ups, the editing, narration and post production is second to none. If there were academy awards for UA-cam videos, you have my nomination, sir.Stunning, just stunning.
Terrific to have you watching mate :)
I'm a toolmaker too and this attention to detail is not possible in our workplace, tight deadlines and only make what the engineering drawing requires, nothing more.Time is money in the commercial toolmaking sector but for a hobby craftsman it's about quality not quantity.
I found this channel only a few weeks ago through ToT (This old Tony) and became mesmerized first with the Antikythera Machine, which actually came AFTER this project, I believe. I feel that I was fortunate because I could watch each episode, of both projects, one after the other, without having to wait for a new episode to come out. Several commenters have said that Chris’ work, on the video & audio editing as well as the projects themselves, sets a new standard for others on UA-cam. I disagree. I believe this is in a class all by itself, and is too awesome for the rest of us to ever hope to achieve, not matter how hard we try. I mean, come on.... Custom broaches, custom part holders, bluing, polishing, hardening, yada, yada.... all done by hand and filmed in Technicolor!!! Who else has the PATIENCE for this, much less the dedication to learn and master so many unique crafts along the way!!! IMPOSSIBLE for anyone else to even come CLOSE!
Wow. I've just finished watching this series over several nights. Damn, Chris, this is a work of art.
Bonus points for being a fellow Aussie too. :)
Fantastic work Chris! It has been an exciting journey to see this beautiful piece of work come together. I very much look forward to what you have planned for the future.
Cheers mate :)
live stream the new years count down with this clock running,
What a joy. Every moment a pleasure.
Although I have not watched the complete clock series I have watched many of your videos. I am completely blown away with your talent. Keep up the great work and I will continue to be in awe! Nick
Hahaha zero dislikes as of now.. I have absolutely loved this project! I have watched every episode (even though my first video of yours was watched like two weeks ago), and I was waiting for this video to come out! Absolutely fantastic work!
as excited as i was to see this finished, im so sad to see this series end.
Christopher Walker Dont worry, the next one will come for sure.
That's not a clock, it's a piece of art!!
I have watched all the episodes on the clock build. Your craftsmanship is unbelievable. The fit , finish and polish you have given these pieces blows my mind. Well done. I would love to have these skills and abilities some day. Also your videos are so easy to follow along with and extremely informative. Thanks for sharing. Now onto the next project to watch along!
Wow. I started watching your channel a couple videos into this project, and I have been impressed with each video you put out. Your attention to detail is just incredible. Amazing job on both the incredible clock, and the superb video content! The quality of the video production totally echoes the quality of your physical work. Looking forward to whatever else you have in store!
