Welcome to Botswana! On your way down to Francistown stop over at Elephant Hills, Nata bird Sanctuary, if you can make it to the Makgadikgadi Pan a visit to Kubu Island is definately worth a visit. From there head to Serowe 30 km out of Serowe is the Khama Rhino Sanctuary, where you have a wide range of animal, including most probably the largest population of white rhinos , which can be seen within meters of you vehicle.

Yip…it is a holdover from our colonial past…My late mother was always tickled by it and used to tell me me go and perform my ablutions , rather than tell me take a bath😂..
The kwê sounding bird is the Grey Goaway bird….it is telling you “go away”….

Love Botswana crossing the Maghadgadi, Chiefs Island Gwaai River Savuti, Chobe, Kasane. Great bush trips in 4 x 4s.

I feel I should give a round of applause, what a brilliant video easy your best. The herd of elephants against the sunset was magnificent, it brought a few tears to my eyes. You need to take a still from that and have it framed. The animals all performed well for you. I love how nothing phases you,you just change your plans instead of moaning. Great camera work Chris and great driving Marianne. Love from Scotland.

Great Video Guys, after you’re done touring the world. Just come back to Southern Africa and make videos, like this one.
I really felt like I was on that boat with you two!

Well said Mike. Southern africa is epic. Easily the most scenic part of africa with a nice blend of Western and African culture

What a wonderful episode and great editing too. I'm enjoying the African segment much more than the Indian chapter.
