Yes, its a good time in August to visit Ooty and Coonoor. Last year August 15 we were in OOTY. Nice place. Temperature max 18. night temperature 8 degrees. Remind one thing after 8.30pm you won't get food. Due to hill station and temperature drop at night. Everything is closed /
