Sad to see Douvan will never be back to its best, we never got to see him fulfill his unbelievable early form
bog standard I dont agree its a shame we never get to see these huge matchups, same with a prime faugheen v the champion hurdle winner, i know faugheen would have win that

Douvan’s jumping lacked zest and was clunky throughout. Doubt we’ll ever see his brilliant spark return.
He travelled like a dream at Cheltenham, but as you said he didn’t have that zest here. I think the year out caught up with him here as he looked rusty. A prime Douvan would be reeling in UDS.

There is zero truth in your statement, plucking random stats out to try and back up your opinion. Betting really isn't hard if you take the right approach of looking for value rather than betting on every event possible. The same applies to the stock markets. I primarily focus on the Cheltenham Festival and have a healthy ROI now for the past 5 years.

Un de Sceaux is nothing short of a legend He got beaten by the third highest rated chaser of all time on ground he doesnt like. He is the best horse I have ever seen on soft ground and will go down as one of the greats
